We took mom and dad to celebrate Mothers Day and Father’s Day together to this place since we were there during the right time. It was an amazing experience. It’s a cozy and romantic spot to celebrate with your near and dear ones. Whether you’re going on a date or birthday or any other event this is a one of kind place. We were welcomed and staff were very friendly. They also had a beautiful night sky effect in the restaurant. Our waiter was a really nice person and he was very friendly. We all ordered drinks first. I ordered a mocktail with a pineapple base. It was really sweet. My husband ordered sweet tea. My father in law ordered a Diet Coke and mom in law ordered a mocktail with cranberry base. The mocktails came in super cute glasses and my mom in law was very thrilled. They bring bread out and it was soft and yummy with balsamic dip. For entrees I ordered the eggplant Parmesan. My husband ordered chicken Marsala. My father in law had the Chicken Parmesan and my mom in law ordered Vegetarian Lasagna. All the main courses were yummy and delicious. For desserts I had Tiramisu, my husband had the Brownie with vanilla bean icecream and my mom in law had cannoli. All desserts were really yummy. It’s definitely worth visiting this place and it’s super romantic too. I would definitely come here again to celebrate a special occasion with my loved ones.

The good: This restaurant blends a nice ambiance with good food. Babymoon Cafe has a Spinach & Artichoke dip is a must have. They use soft bread as opposed to cheap tortilla chips that other restaurants use. They have a lot of Italian options from Salads and Sandwiches to Pizza and Pasta. They also have premium entrees such as Salmon, Steak, and Shrimp. Their seating includes indoor, enclosed heated outdoor, and umbrella-covered outdoor seats. Indoor seating had a low light ambiance. The bad: Their service can use some improvement. They seem ill-prepared for the normal lunch rush. They use a "seat yourself" method but half of the tables are already reserved. This leaves customers walking around in circles trying to find a seat that is actually available. This also means that we can go about 5-10 minutes without being acknowledged. Their wait times are about 45 minutes from the time we order drinks until the time our food comes. There is very limited interaction between the servers and the table. I was never asked for refills on my drink until my food was finished. We were not greeted with warmth but rather with a rush. Overall: I will come back to Babymoon because of their food. It tastes good enough for me to overlook some of the deficiencies.

No, no, no, no. This is NOT an Italian restaurant. This is an American restaurant that shows Italian Cuisine in the front door which is totally misleading. A restaurant cannot call itself Italian just because it serves a mediocre pizza and an extremely overcooked spaghetti. Or just because they name a plate " Veal Saltimbocca" and what you get is again, an overcooked spaghetti with mushrooms and spinach. Or because they serve a Chicken Parmigiana over 1 pound of spaghetti... Sorry, no. To add to the experience, my grandfather, who just turned 90, born and raised in the Puglia region of southern Italy joined us for lunch at this restaurant. He was not very happy. There were 2 things that were good though. 1- the fried calamari. The best plate we had by far, and 2- our waiter. She was very nice and even helped us getting a second round of those calamari but only tentacles, just as we asked her. If you're looking for an Italian restaurant, this is not the place to go.

Update July 15th 2023. My husband got it to go order of salmon and risotto. The salmon was dry and didn't really taste that great. The risotto was good.

Original teview: Somewhat disappointing tonight. When I came to this restaurant the first time I was delighted with the service and the food. Not So this visit. Service was lacking. Restaurant was empty of customers and had lots of staff who stood around talking to each other behind the bar. Our salads came out and the waitress never bothered to come back to see if we needed anything (we did). Or to even bother asking if our food was o.k. Then they brought out our entrees before we were even close to being finished with the salads. If anyone had bothered to look at us they would see that we weren't quite ready for the entrees. One of the dishes was completely inedible and way too salty. I had them remove it from our bill because I wasn't going to pay $22 for a pasta dish that was WAY too salty. The food was actually inedible. The owner came over and kind of gave me a sour expression like I had done something wrong. Also, I like to box my own food. After years of eating out and going home and finding they've packed one breadstick and thrown out the entree, I started making it a "rule" that I box my own food because they never get it right anywhere. Seriously. (I don't know why but others throw out stuff I meant to keep so I just made a rule that I box up my own food after so much repeated aggravation.) I figured what the hell, it's my food and I paid for it. But I'm nice about asking for a box and a bag. The waitress got cranky about it, which makes no sense to me. We are not snarky, mean, demanding or unkind. In fact, we're pretty nice. Babymoon was just seriously off their...

We got there and it was fairly empty. Our server was off her game today. Brought us water and left for 20 minutes, came back with bread and said she was not ready for our order. Left again for 10 minutes. Took our order left came back 20 minutes later with appetizers. Chicken breast salad (hard dried out battered chicken slices on lettuce and sweet peppers drowning in ranch. Seared shrimp as well. Came back 10 minutes later to take out dinner order. Then never saw her again for almost an hour. Now the place is packed. The table beside us, was being served by a different server, that seated 30 minutes after us got their appetizers and their main course spaced out right. We still had not seen our server 57 minutes after we placed out order now been in the restaurant a total of 2 hours. She comes back to fill our water glasses. Asked about our dinner when she said I was just going to check on it as she was working a huge party and that is why the delay. I reminded her that we arrived long before the party. She shrugged and found our food. Chicken parm and spaghetti is what I ordered and it was the same dried out chicken as they put into the salad. My co worker ordered the same and got the same crappy quality food. Another coworker ordered a balsamic veal. He said it tastes very poor for 40.00 plate. One coworker ordered the seafood bowl. He said it was good. 1 out of 4 got what they ordered. I made a comment and the staff labeled me as a complainer. We left and we still gave her a tip. First impressions go a long way. It was not an enjoyableble visit. I wony e dire it...

Let's start by saying this: you know you are in for good eats when the staff are excited for you to try the restaurant's food, even when they aren't culinary staff. During my first experience with Babymoon, I was travelling to the area and needed to work through the evening, but wanted to get some decent (preferably good) food delivered to my hotel if possible. Babymoon's website explicitly refers to delivery to a number of nearby hotels. The delivery fee and prices are also quite reasonable!! Babymoon happened to deliver to my hotel, so I was in luck!

The employee who took my order was kind and genuinely excited for me to try the food, as was the kind and timely delivery employee. My order was correct and good temperatures. It came with plenty of napkins, cutlery and bread. The food was outstanding. The portion sizes were generous but not insane. I ordered one salad, one entree and one dessert, and it will be enough for me to make 1 meal/day for a few days from it. I get the impression that most items would probably be enough for 2 people to split if you aren't looking for a huge meal.

The food tasted fresh and with fresh ingredients. The flavors and textures were outstanding. I think pasta has a tendency to sometimes taste very bland and rubbery. This pasta was fantastic. Definitely give this restaurant a try when you are in the area. Take advantage of the delivery if you don't want to venture out! That being said, I've heard it has wonderful ambiance, so it might be worth checking out if you can!!...
