My wife and I stopped in at 9:15pm. on a Friday. We had been on the road all day, so by the time we could stop and eat, it was pretty late. The hostess was sweeping the floor when we came in, so we had to go and let her know we were there. I'm not at all upset about that because the place had only 3 tables occupied and it was late. Plus, she was working hard instead of standing around, so kudos to her.
She sat us at a table, gave us menus, and took our drink order. My wife had a cocktail, and I had a Yuengling draft. While waiting for our drinks, she delivered some rolls and butter. My beer arrived 1st. it had no head and was chilled but not cold. This probably meant their system was not as cold as it should be. Knowing that I was a bit tired and hungry, I didn't want to overreact, so I didn't say anything about the beer. My wife's cocktail arrived about 10 minutes later. It was good and she enjoyed it.
When our food arrived, which took about 20 minutes, it was not what we were hoping for. I had ordered a medium rare Is 15 oz ribeye with broccoli and asparagus. What arrived was a well-done steak that was about a quarter of an inch thick. Though the steak was a disaster, the vegetables were good and not overly cooked.
It took a bit for the waitress to come back around she must have been working in another part of the restaurant, and by this time, I think we were the only people there. When I did see her, I showed her my stake and reminded her I had ordered medium rare. She had me take the steak and put it onto another plate, then give that plate with a steak to her. She did not simply take my plate. That was pretty weird to me.
My wife just had the Boo. Boom shrimp appetizer and, like her cocktail, it was good. I can not recall the name, but it was something like...
Read moreCame in Sunday with my husband. No one was there to greet us for almost 7 minutes. Once we were seated, we waited another 10 minutes before a server from another area asked if we had been helped. Another person came out 3 minutes later whom we've later become to know was the manager. After she took our drink orders, our real waiter brought the drinks immediately. I watched as he wrote down our meal orders. The appetizer came out incorrect, but he began to tell me that chili was $2 extra. When he back with our order, he brought the rest of the appetizer. My steak was prepared incorrectly. When I mentioned it to the waiter, he was frustrated that I mentioned that my order was incorrect yet again. He took my food and told me that I would receive new food. However, when the manager came out with my food, I noticed that the only thing new was my cold baked potato. She asked how things were. I proceeded to tell her that our experience had not been great. She proceeded to blame the waitstaff. However, the entire staff that waited on us need to be restrained including the manager. She did take off $15, but I would never go back to the Airport location in...
Read moreI have never written a negative experience until now. We were out of town people staying at a nearby hotel. There was a party of 6 and our waiter never wrote down our order. He was apparently going to just remember it. There was not one of us who got the right order. One was served a steak with no potato and told it would be another 20 min for the potato! I ordered well-done beef tips that were very rare. The meat was stringy, and I just could not eat it. Another's salad was brought out as a side salad. She told our waiter, no, she ordered a full ceasar with chicken. He took her salad and replaced it with chicken and charged her for both! We showed him where the bill was wrong. He said he would have to take it to his manager because that's how it was on the menu. He left and 12 min. Later, he came back and handed them the bill, saying this should be more affordable. Not even a sorry for all the messed up orders. The only positive is the fried okra came out fresh and hot.... only because he forgot it and had to reorder. We didn't get mad but had to laugh at the complete chaos. I would not recommend...
