Hooters — Restaurant in Morrisville

This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had at any restaurant before. From the moment we entered the restaurant until the time we paid the tab and left. When we walked in to wait to be seated, 3-4 servers walked past us and didn’t acknowledge us. We finally got seated and waited another 10 minutes until our “actual” server came by and told us to give her 5 more minutes. Didn’t even offer us waters or anything while waiting. Another server came by to tell us our server was tied up and finally asked us what we wanted to drink. We ordered a Bloody Mary and Margarita and two waters. The waters came out first of course but took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. Our “actual” server finally came back and asked if we had ordered our food yet which we had replied no. She took our food order and appetizer order. After she placed our food order, she went and sat down in the booth right in front of us and started eating food and drinking with them. I found this extremely unprofessional as I used to be a server. There is no way this would fly in any restaurant I have worked in. Server finally brought our appetizer out to us. I have no clue what her name was as she was NOT wearing a name tag like the other servers. She stopped by once to ask how the chips and dip was. She then went back to sitting down at the table in front of us to eat food and talk. As this happened I watched two men come in and wait by the hostess stand. She didn’t get up to greet them or anything. The two men seated themselves and when they DIDN'T sit in her section she did a fist pump after she got up from the table in front of us to walk into the kitchen. Finally our food came out and she brought it out to us. My dad and I both got a grilled chicken sandwich with curly fries and I forgot to ask for mayo on the sandwich after our server had walked away. I tried waving down our server to see if I could get some mayo at which she held her finger up and told me one second. I saw the manager finally come out of the back and talk to another table that was sitting two booths down from us. She continued to look at what they were saying since that was her table, and there was another girl just standing around at the hostess stand completely ignoring me. She finally came back after another 10 minutes, and I asked for mayo at which it took her 10 seconds to grab two packets of mayo for me. She then continued to sit down at the booth in front of us and continue talking and eating her food. The manager walked out again and saw her sit down at which she turned her head to the side and then got up and walked the other way once her manager saw. The only good thing I would say is the food was good and the drinks were good. However, our service was the WORST service I have ever had at any restaurant and was very unprofessional. I would not recommend this location to anyone wanting good...

My first and last time to eat from this establishment. I had my food delivered. It was absolutely disgusting and downright nasty. First, I ordered the 12 Buffalo Shrimp. They did not look anything like the online photo, as they were not breaded or crispy, but instead it looked like they had not been cooked at all. I put them in the oven to cook them. They had no seasoning and were bland. The hot honey sauce was watery and disgusting. In addition the plating was as if they just threw them in the box all at once instead of placing them. In addition, it said 12 pieces but there were 19, and likely 19 much smaller baby shrimp as why would someone put 19 pieces on a 12-piece order (probably to fill the box as 12 would have been measly). It is very likely the whole meal was not done to order as there were so many mistakes. Second, was the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. Again, nothing like the online photo. It did not even have any cheese on it. Just an open sandwich with a glop of meat on it. I ordered jalapeños extra on it that of course did not exist. No seasoning to the meat as it was as bland as the shrimp. And that goes for the curly fries as well that were not crispy or seasoned. Just all bland and disgusting to the taste and sight. And third, was the Fish Tacos Grilled. Messy plating as if it was all just tossed together in a hurry without any mindful thought. Yes, this was delivery, but it was nicely bagged and it was obvious it was not in the delivery method but the original plating that was a huge mess. The fish tacos had the same theme as they were just as bland tasting and had a nasty texture as the first 2 orders as if the food was just heated up in a microwave instead of cooked. Very disgusting on all fronts. So, 3 different orders with all the same appalling outcomes. Nasty tasting, not seasoned, not made to order, disgusting appearance, and very poor execution. This was not even a 1-star, but a huge negative star... I rate this order as a negative 10 star. Worst food I have had in many years... like 20 years or more. This was like a nasty and disgusting fast-food order but cost a lot more. And for the owner who may reply to this review with we will try harder or give us another chance, you do not have to try harder your have to take ownership and right your ship as you are charging a lot of money for disgusting food in taste, presentation, and making food to order. And to give a second chance would be for me to not learn from such a horrible order. Even as I write this review I am reminded of the nasty food I received... and to order or try to eat food from this establishment in the future will only bring back the disgusting experience similar to aversion therapy and adverse conditioning. Our party had 6 people in it. 3 kids, 3 adults. We arrived at the location at roughly 7:00pm. Once we were sat at our table we waited 25 minutes before our waitress Caley even came over to get our drinks and food order. Another 15 minutes before she even brought our drinks to us. One of our 2 alcohol drinks that we ordered did not even have alcohol in it. According to the fairly new bartender, they ran out of the alcohol needed to make our drink. So she made the drink without the alcohol and sent it out, thinking we weren’t going to notice. Another 55 minutes, and we only got 2 of our 6 plates ordered. And one of them had to be sent back because it wasn’t made right. Another 25 minutes, and we finally had all of our 6 plates. Most of our food was warm, but not hot as it should have been if it had just came off the grill. The place was not overly packed for it to be a “Football Sunday”. Parking lot was not overly packed. Service shouldn’t have been a problem. We arrived here at this location at roughly 7pm, and were not served our food till almost 8:15. We called the manager over to our table, which also took another 15 minutes. 2 words into our complaints, he frees our whole party’s meals out and gives us all desert. We weren’t the only ones with bad service here. There was a party of 14 people right next to us, and on their way out after their free meals, they informed us they were waiting almost 2 hours for their meals. Employees calling out of work, busy service...whatever the problem is, no restaurant should be ran like this one was tonight. This service was very poor tonight.
