Having lived in the Morton area for many years and visiting town quite often, one of my "local" go-to places is The Brass Bull Tavern. Located just off the main drag of Downtown Morton in one of the older buildings in town, it's been known as The Brass Bull since the late '80s, but it has been a liquor establishment for much longer. While spending the better part of four days in town during the Pumpkin Fest, I stopped in here almost every night for a Pabst Blue Ribbon! Over the years, I've brought family and friends here and often run into someone I know. During this visit, it was fairly quiet most evenings with a laid-back crowd. Inside, it's not too big and definitely has a nice dive bar vibe. They serve some bar food snacks and have a full liquor bar, a pool table in the backroom, and some arcade-style games. For the few days I was in town, this was the perfect chill spot for me. Mostly only locals while I visited, with friendly bar staff. My PBRs were ice cold and reasonably priced at $3 a can. Every few years when I'm back in town, it's always a great spot for an after dinner drink or a late evening beer. Check it out if you get a chance!

The bartender last night was awesome. She was quick and friendly. The patio is a temporary parking lot patio but we loved it. Perfect area to get a nice cross breeze. The place carries my favorite specialty vodka and served at a decent price. There’s a pinball machine and a pool table. The regulars were cool too. We heard there’s a really good Bloody Mary bar available on Sunday. We will definitely come back to...

A small town, hole in the wall bar that can get hoppin on the weekends. We go to play darts. Friendly staff. Have a pool table as well. Decent beer selection. TouchTunes music player. We usually hop back and forth between this place and “the office” (another, similar bar just in back of the Brass...
