I recently met some friends at Seasons Gastropub, it was my first time there. I loved the wide open area. I didn't get a chance to really walk around and check out the place, but from what I seen it was very spacious. It wasn't very busy when I got there at 5:30 but a lot more people started coming in after that. The tables are very spaced out, so you can't really even hear people talking at the next table, so that was nice. Not going to lie, I wasn't a huge fan of the pulled pork nachos (there wasn't much pork) but I might be willing to go back and try something different. It looked like my friends all enjoyed their meals. I didn't get pictures of their food but one of my friends got a brisket sandwich, the pulled pork sandwich, the fish and fries and a horseshoe. They all looked good. They had a beautiful fireplace outside with some outdoor seating. I bet it's really nice in the summertime, that would probably be a good time to come back and check it out.

I live so close and had never heard of this place! What a wonderful find! Cool part of town, easy parking, friendly staff with a very Gastropub vibe (which I’m a fan). The only criticism I could think of (which I hope is constructive because nothing was negative about our experience) is this place needs a homemade mayonnaise instead of packets (for in house dining). The Brisket was worth the trip alone. It was amazing! The fries were perfectly seasoned. Tons of beers, ciders, mixed drinks. We came Oktoberfest season. So good 🤤! If you live in the area or are passing through I highly recommend this place. I plan to come back soon because they had so many great options menu and I can only eat so much! See ya soon Seasons Gastropub. 🍻

Stopped in for lunch at Seasons Gastropub on Main Street in Morton, IL—the Pumpkin Capital of the World! I had the Burnt End Tacos with fries and an ice-cold PBR. The tacos, topped with coleslaw, red slaw, and spicy mayo, were excellent. I’ve been here many times over the years to meet family and friends, and it never disappoints. The space is huge with a full bar, private party areas, and a great outdoor patio with seating and a fireplace. Service was spot on, and the menu has something for everyone. Always a solid choice for good food, drinks, and company in central Illinois.

Definition of gastropub : a pub, bar, or tavern that offers meals of high quality This place is not a gastropub it's a bar restaurant that don't know what it is. When you walk it from the seasons side your looking at a bar on the left a opening to another restaurant they owe called Basta's in the middle and a sushi bar on the right. I felt like i walked into a truck stop and had to decide where I wanted to eat at. After being told at the hostess station I'll be right with you the forth person asked if we had been helped yet and seated us. We were given three menus. First the Seasons menu and is a mix of BBQ and standard sandwiches Not a gastropub menu when it's half standard BBQ and half standard bar food. second a beer wine and cocktail menu and third a the sushi menu well really a California roll menu.. After a short wait a waitress took our drink order Captain Morgan a diet Pepsi for my wife a a beer for me and returned with them a few minutes later. My wife took a drink of her Captain Morgan and diet Pepsi and said it didn't taste good I tried it and it was gross. After trying to get our waitress's attention, took three attempts we told her my wife drinks wasn't right and asked for a root beer. She told us she had to check with her manager.I was thinking really you have to talk to a manager to take care of a bad drink but ok. So she returns and tells us he was going to take care of it LOL She then returns with the root beer but instead of being a root beer it's a Captain Morgan and root beer WOW really!! My wife said I just wanted a root beer so back again with the root beer. Now we put in our order I get a bacon swiss with sweet potato fries and my wife gets the chicken philly with fries. While we are waiting for our food I wanted another beer so I had to flag down our waitress again I guess they don't know to check on the customers when there drinks are empty. Order another beer. Finally the food comes and it's good but just your average bar burger and sandwich. That again where there gastropub name is lost. This is not high quality it's typical bar food. We finish and get the bill and we are being charged for the mixed drink still. I asked the waitress about it and told her I thought the manager was taking care of it. She told us we still have to pay for it because they took care of it by bringing us the root beer. So off I go to talk to the manager about it. I asked him how charging me for a drink that was bad and giving us a pop instead was taking care of it. He told me he would take it off the bill. I told him he could charge me for a root beer but I just didn't want to pay for a mixed drink my wife couldn't drink. He insisted on taking it off the bill and not charging me for the root beer so thank you. So to conclude the food is good but bar food not high quality elevated gastropub food. They are trying to be to many places in one to me A bar, BBQ joint, a restaurant a sushi bar and throw in a huge hall to another restaurant. There are two restaurants that are close to being gastropub's in Peoria Thyme and The Publik House but Seasons the only one that has gastropub in it's...

Built to disappoint

This place was once good before they closed, don't get me wrong the sushi is still great, but everything else... and I mean everything is sad.

The fries are always underdone the mac and cheese is Penne noodles with there spicy cheese sauce and if that sounds good to you then congrats but it is underwhelming

The staff needs help I don't know what has happened but when you call and make an order painfully clear and the pickup is wrecked. Then you go in person and say no xyz and they still manage to forget it just seems sloppy, but they are quick to help rectify or take bad tea off the bill without even asking but sometimes but taking stuff back to fix it then the kitchen is even more rushed and once again fries and the chicken in the wrap that returns is different then the one that I got that was fine IE fries underdone and the shredded chicken was just hastily cooked / compared to my wrap that was just made with no subtractions

I never get a refill sometimes the place was busy so I can understand but tonight was the last straw both me and someone else never got refills for water.

My husband and I were traveling through, and we love to try local places. The atmosphere, service and cleanliness were five star. The food… I would give it a zero if possible. We ordered the parmesan cheese fries as an appetizer. They were overdone and flavorless. They tasted like dry fries sprinkled with Parmesan and left a burnt aftertaste in our mouths. The server was very gracious and brought us a different order. These were less done, but they were still flavorless. I think the chef needs to research par boiling fries before frying them. While they are at it, maybe they could explore some seasonings — maybe even start with something basic like salt. He or she could even live on the edge and try garlic salt and rosemary. I ordered the shrimp tacos as my main course. They were anorexic and pathetic. They had three popcorn sized shrimp in each. There was barely anything else in it. My husband ordered the smoked brisket. This was the best thing in the whole evening. I’m assuming the person who smokes is different than the chef. The coleslaw he ordered was OK but runny. The macaroni and cheese was just basic. The cornbread was like a brick, I want to reiterate again that our server was fantastic. Also, the restaurant was spotless. The bathrooms were very clean as well. The outdoor seating area was not opened because it’s still a little cool, but it definitely looks like a fun place to dine. I can only hope that their chef is new, and that their food will get better. This is the case where I should’ve read the...
