Honestly the worse service and mediocre food I have ever received from Schooner's. I absolutely love this small chain of restaurants. We always have great service and the food is delicious. Well not on this day, the waitress was so non customer oriented and she knew things were not right. so instead of being a professional about it she decided to rub her body against my shoulder. It was quite embarrassing and non-called for. Really and who takes someone's bad experience and makes it worse by unwanted sexual advances? Now a word about the food like I said it is usually very good. However on this day the tenderloin was so greasy and undercooked that it was inedible. And the chicken strips which are normally made in dipped into the beer batter and fried to perfection. These were literally out of a bag and they were tasteless and you could tell that it was like any other bar. This is not the standard or the reason that people come to schooners. Now a nice word about the manager she did try and make it right after we had eaten. And the waitress made the ticket out to be $27 more than it should be. Now I don't know if that's how she supplements her income but I call it theft. There was no rhyme or reason behind her addition problem. She just blatantly was going to charge us more and thought she would get away with it. And as we were leaving the manager was having a word with her. If I was that manager there would be one word FIRED! as we turned our back and was leaving the restaurant she said to the manager I was going to charge them for the things they didn't eat! Again I just want to say this is not a typical schooner's experience and however this will be the last time that we will visit this particular schooners. If you plan to visit this particular restaurant make sure the ticket is right and also I hope your food experience is much better than ours....
Read moreAs a first time customer, I had heard great things about, "tenderloins as big as your face" and was excited to try this place out. When the waitress finally came to take our order, I ordered the tenderloin. Wanting some to take back, my wife also ordered the same thing. This old hag of a waitress had the audacity to asj, "why dont you two just split one?". Dumbfounded, I insisted we wanted two as she proclaimed a second time that we really only needed one. This was not just bragging about the food but was very rude and judgemental. If someone had any sense, they ought to teach this lady some manners.
Food - average bar food. Greasy, no onion, onion rings. Tenderloin was alright, definitely big but no flavor.
So if you like being insulted and eating typical greasy bar food, this place...
Read moreI describe this place as a comfortable place for a big dinner and a drink. I went with several friend over lunch break and took on the challenge of their tenderloin pizza. Our server was friendly, but not overbearing, she was on it every step of the way. The tenderloin pizza was new to me. I thought it was sp interesting and I was actually really excited to get it. They have great ranch by the way. The pizza was fantastic. Literally a huge tenderloin as the crust. And I mean huge. They had enough seating for a large group of us. It was a really good time. I'm glad we went. A friend had a burger, he said he gets it all the time and loves it. It was a nice big...
