Lin Buffet — Restaurant in Morton

I have visited about three times in two or so weeks just to see what it's like. I love the food here, and they do have a decent selection for the size of their restaurant. I came during lunch all three times I believe last Tuesday and Thursday, and today. Honestly quality wise it is okay. Some food it was obvious that it had been up for a little bit by taste but otherwise I see them constantly changing pans, which was a great sign. They have a decent salad bar and fairly courteous staff. All three times our waitress would be quick at taking away dishes and quicker still at refilling our drinks. They also have cute little items they sell at the checkout to take home with you (rings, phone cases, so on). Each time I came they seated us in a timely manner, got our drinks to us and as I said above worked diligently to keep our table clear of clutter and drinks topped off! This most recent time I took my younger sister who loved their sushi selection (She had one of each) and my friend to ate at their more American/younger children geared dishes. All in all this restaurant is a keeper in my book. Their food was great, their staff diligent, and the restaurant clean (Although I haven't seen the bathrooms yet). Awful, ordered some combo specials that state they come with friend rice and egg rolls. When we returned home our chicken was dry and seemed like it was cooked awhile ago. Our rice was very mushy and didn't want to come apart from being smashed into the corner of the container. The egg rolls we're not egg rolls, so we called to let them know they gave us spring rolls and not egg rolls. We were told we were wrong. That's what comes with the combo. We told them we've never received these rolls before and that the menu specifically states they come with pork egg rolls and that's what we always received with the combo. The rude lady on the phone told us it was out fault and that we needed to know how to order. The last few times we had ordered carryout, there's been something wrong with quality. If I COULD give zero stars I would. I ordered off the menu and the chicken was slimy and the rice was clumped together. We had that taken off the bill. However, my boyfriend felt bad asking for his free as well because, although they promote real scallops and crab (I don’t even know if the chicken was real honestly), it was not good and NOT real. So we called to honestly ask for reimbursement due to the quality and the manager did not reimburse us, however she admitted the food was not real, told him I was sick and that’s why I didn’t like my food and asked him why he was stuttering on the phone. Don’t give your money to these people.
