La Fiesta — Restaurant in Morton

Took a friend a few Saturdays ago for her birthday October 28th. It was packed. Great service. Then during lunch time last Monday November 6th went with my cousin. Horrible service and we were the only ones there. Had to ask for limes, cheese sauce, and napkins 3 times before getting them. Then lunch arrived and we had to ask for silverware. I asked to have ice cream following my dinner. The waiter never checked on us. Then after waving him down with my finger to signal I was ready for ice cream, he pointed in air and then at some invisible person we couldn't see from across the room. (No idea what that meant at the time). Anyway, continued to wait and then watched him get into his car and leave!! So very confused. Understand he still didn't come to the table to let us know anything or check on us. Finally after flagging down another staff member (which was his replacement) and telling him I was still waiting for the ice cream,it took over 20 minutes to get to us. Of course he was nice and apologized, but it wasn't him that started with us. Finally after finishing my ice cream we were still left with dirty dishes at the table and no one checking on us. We did report this to the cashier. And hell NO was a tip given. The worst service I've had in years. I was disappointed and embarrassed that I told my cousin how great it was the week before. You definitely need to get rid of him. He has no idea what customer service is and how to be attentive to the customers needs. I probably won't return. Which is unfortunate because I really did like the food. But I'm not going to sit there for 2 hours to have 2 tacos, rice, and fried ice cream. That's all I ordered. And wait 30 minutes for them to bring ice cream....

We ate here with some friends tonight, our service was really poor. We walked in and the sign said please seat your self. So we did so. The waiter came over and took our drink order and I told him there will be two more people joining us. He came back with our drinks and pretty much threw my drink on the table. Spilling it. He left and we didn’t see him for a good 15 mins. Everyone was ready to order. Finally we got up and moved to a different table one, more where he could see us. We found him just sitting down at the table. He finally came over with a huge attitude and took our orders. When I order mine I told him exactly what I wanted. Which is what it came with anyway but I just wanted to make sure. When I got my plate there was tomatoes on it. I just can’t do tomatoes I was going to pick them off but it was covered. When he came back to bring the other plates my friend told him that I didn’t order tomatoes and the menu didn’t state tomatoes. He came full force across the table and grab my plate. I was scared to death that he was going to start yelling at me. He took off with the plate and throw it in the dirty area and walked off. He brought new food out and we never seen him until another waiter helped us. My friend was also missing part of her meal. I couldn’t believe the service. I will come back but not for...

We ordered over 20 tacos from them. Specifically shredded chicken tacos. The tacos we received weren't what we asked for at all. After bringing them back to the party and realizing what had happened we made a call to let them know these weren't what had been ordered. They not only argued with us, but proceeded to tell us that we needed to bring everything back for them to refund us anything. It was like pulling teeth to try and get this establishment to fix the mistake that THEY made. Last I checked the customer was always right. APPARENTLY not when you order over $100 worth of food. This really hurts because I thought this was the go to Mexican reseraunt in Morton but putting up with horrible customer service and poor ownership wont float my boat anytime soon. Please take the time to read this and think about your choices when wanting Mexican food. Let's go with a resteraunt in east Peoria that F*&% you out of your money when its inconvenient to them.

P.S. they have a waiter who is constantly in a terrible mood who makes you feel like you're doing HIM a disfavor for ordering food from him...thanks but no thanks 0 STARS...
