Bobafly Tea — Restaurant in Moses Lake

If you come here, make sure you have lots of time to wait, and TRY YOUR DRINK prior to leaving. We've had three experiences here, and while the first went smoothly, trips two and three were not as pleasant.

The employees are clearly hourly workers who have never been in a production environment (though they are), and it shows. The latter two trips were both 5-drink runs, and to the credit of the employees, at least they're consistent; it took just over a half hour both times. Today's trip had one of the workers ensure that they made a drink for themselves prior to getting started on ours. Hard work, this - gotta stay hydrated.

Earlier this week, I discovered at home that the mango drink tasted less like tropical delight and more like milk that had been used to rinse a 2 day old catch of Moses Lake carp. Today, my 6-year-old got some red and blue concoction, and again didn't try it until we got home. It was vaguely fruity, with strong notes of spoiled pastry dough and a leather aftertaste. Upon our return, the employee, rather than being contrite and helpful, asked what we wanted them to do about it. Once my daughter got a replacement she thanked them, to which the worker just turned around and walked away. Never apologized for the error, never acknowledged my kid or her gratitude.

The upside: the store is clean and bright, the seating area filled with chic furniture and tasteful decor. The drinks, when made correctly - which, in fairness, is most of the time - are very good, if at the upper end of the $ scale.

To the business owner: I understand the difficulty in finding good help, I really do. You still haven't here, and you absolutely aren't getting what you're paying for. As it happens, at the price point, we didn't either, and given that we've made a reasonable number of product and service samples, likely...

We’ve been to Bobafly Tea three times now. The first two times were perfect—we ordered the exact same drinks (Mango Passion Fruit Green Tea with passion fruit popping and added boba) and loved them. That’s why we came back again. Unfortunately, this time was a big disappointment.

We waited about 10 minutes for our drinks, even though two other customers who ordered after us already got theirs and left. We didn’t mind waiting since we know some drinks take longer to make, but when we finally got ours, there was no passion fruit popping at all. On top of that, the drinks tasted nothing like before—no flavor, just really strong green tea with boba.

On top of that, the girl who took our order didn’t seem happy at all, which made the experience feel even worse. Really sad to have such a bad experience after two...

I've been coming here after every time I go to the gym for some time now. I always get a classic shake with a scoop of peanut butter, recommended by one of the employees the first time I visited. Very tasty and well-made.

I love that this place is right next door to one gym, and less than a hundred feet from another, so it's the perfect stop on my way out for a recovery shake.
