Super China Buffet 2 — Restaurant in Moses Lake

So, earlier today we (husband, daughters, myself) decided to go to Moses Lake for lunch. We decided to have lunch at the “Super China Buffet”. We walk in, and this really nice sweet, and somewhat embarrassed lady walked us to our table. She begins taking our beverage order. She gets my husbands order, mine... and then somehow, another lady walks right in front of her, and asks us what we were wanting to drink. Ok, so I thought it was a little weird, but didn’t think much of it. Once we were done telling this other lady our order, we walked up to get our food. As we start eating, I see the first lady who was taking our order wiping down a table, and the lady who had previously walked up in front of her, takes the rag away from her and begins wiping the table down. Ok... weird again. A few minutes later, as the first lady continues wiping down tables, the second lady goes up to her and starts telling her how she’s doing it all wrong. Let me tell you this lady, was the nicest lady they had there. She was cleaning here, cleaning there, filling up peoples glasses and so on. When she walks up to me to fill my glass, I decided to let her know what an amazing job she was doing, and to keep it up! I also asked her if any of her co-workers was related to her. She begins to get a bit tearful as she responds, “My family is not here”. Short little conversation, but I can tell she was very doubtful about her overall endeavor. She walks away, and continues to work. I see the other lady once again walk up to her, telling her what she needed to do, and this time laughing at her. I said nothing, believe it or not! Not until it came to paying. We walk up to the counter, and it was someone else who was there, not able to check us out because the owner was in the restroom. When the owner comes back to the counter, she gives us out total, and we pay. Turns out, the owner was the lady who had interrupted when the first lady was trying to take our order. When she’s handing us the change, is when I decide to give her a piece of my mind....

Myself- You have a very nice hardworking lady back there! Owner- Oh yes, yes she is! Myself- Then maybe you should start treating her like it. Owner- Oh yes, yes Myself- Maybe instead of making fun of her, you should help her out a bit Owner- Yes, yes (pretending to be confused)

My point is, many times we see things being done that are completely injustice. We see bullying, we see put downs. We want our children to know the importance of being kind, lending a helping hand, when we as adults can be bullies ourselves! How do we expect them to understand when we cant do it ourselves!? Bullying in schools, jobs, everywhere! And how many of us will see it and just turn our heads the other way? Stand up for what you believe, for what you know is the right thing to do! Let’s show love to one another. When we see someone struggling, let’s lend them a hand, give them some kind advice! Let’s be the difference ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A Lukewarm Disappointment at Super China Buffet 2

We (girlfriend and I) 10/9/2023 recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Super China Buffet 2, and I must say it left me with quite a few concerns and a less-than-appetizing taste in my mouth. The buffet, which boasted a variety of Asian dishes, was anything but a delightful culinary journey.

First and foremost, the temperature of the food was a major issue. Everything, from the hot dishes to the cold ones, was lukewarm at best. It's hard to get excited about a meal when even the thought of a steaming plate of food is just that – a thought. The tepid temperature robbed each dish of its intended flavors and appeal, making the entire dining experience less than enjoyable.

To make matters worse, when we decided not to eat the lukewarm offerings, we were still charged a steep near $22. It felt like a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. It's one thing to charge for a meal, but it's another to do so when the food is clearly subpar and unappetizing.

Perhaps the most concerning aspect of our visit was the cleanliness, or rather, the lack thereof. The lights positioned directly over the food were coated in a thick layer of dust. It was hard to ignore the fact that a breeze or a jostle could easily dislodge that dust, sending it right into the dishes below. This oversight is not only unsanitary but also downright alarming. It's a clear indication that this establishment should be inspected by a health inspector without delay.

In light of these issues, We can confidently say that We will never, ever dine at Super China Buffet 2 again. I strongly urge anyone considering eating here to stay far, far away. The lukewarm food, the questionable cleanliness, and the unjust charge for a disappointing meal are reasons enough to seek dining alternatives. Let's hope this establishment takes immediate action to rectify its issues, both in terms of food quality and hygiene, for the sake of its patrons' health and satisfaction.

We went over to Lin’s Chinese Restaurant and had hot fresh tasty food. Why would we ever eat at a buffet that seems... to mix hot new microwaved food into the old cold dishes that have been sitting out.

First of all, please take heed to the one star reviews. This place is terrible! By far the WORST buffet of any sort I've ever been to and I've been to many. The decor is old and dirty, they were cleaning, however, it's just old and dingy and falling apart. The food was NOT at proper temperatures. We did brave the Mongolian grill, but I didn't eat the food because it was dry and had no flavor. They also had spaghetti noodles instead of Chinese noodles for the Mongolian grill... Weird. The hot table food was not hot, it was more like room temp. When I asked about it one employee told me to put it in the microwave! Yes, they have a microwave sitting out on the counter! I asked for the manager and she told me that she had turned down the steam tables because the food was too hot earlier. She asked me to wait 5 min for the food to get hot again. What?? Really?? She said yes, just wait and it will be hot again. I told her she needed to throw it all away because it had been sitting out too long at the wrong temperature. I asked her if she knew about food temps. (I have a food handlers permit) and she didn't answer. Hmmm... I told her I wasn't going to eat the food so she didn't charge me or my husband. I'm attaching several pictures so you can see how run down the place is. Check out how the food looks and watch for all the grease in the food trays. Oh and I didn't get a picture of what came out of the ice cream machine, but it was warm and was bubbly, clearly spoiled. And another thing, I have never seen fortune cookies that were actually ads, check out the pics. Please do not risk getting ill by eating here. I'm also going to be calling the health department, yes,...
