In all my 57 years searching for the best authentic Mexican food within the 50 continental United States, I have finally found without a doubt the one place I can enjoy Mexican food in ways I didn't think possible.

Donna Lupe and Enrique are by far talented in many ways from the back of the house in the quality ingredients to the front of the house in the smiles at every server brings the table and of course Dona Lupe because without her we might all just be eating Taco Bell.

I found this place several years ago and and I was blown right out of the water at the quality ingredients and all the unique sauces all the authentic food that you can't find anywhere else. In fact, I can be quite picky about my food seeing as I'm a chef but I told myself if I ever made it back this way and live here that I would be knocking on Enrique's door because I want to learn everything that I possibly can from everyone that works here.

Whether I work here someday or not I hope you take 60 minutes of your time for lunch or dinner and stop by and tell them Chef Chris sent you. Please enjoy this little slice of heaven as much as I do.

The singing cowboy...

My daughter ordered nachos with no jalapeños, no sour cream and beans on the side. The first time this was brought out it had sour cream covering the entire top of the plate. When plate pictures was our “second try” after a waitress came up and asked how it should be. It’s missing tomatoes, green onion, guacamole. We then found a hair in her food. My street tacos tasted completely flavorless, my son’s giant burrito tasted “off” as well. The only plate that was even “ok” and eatable was my husbands and once we found the hair we all stopped eating.

We left over $40 worth of food on the table. We were offered a $10gift card which is asinine as I will never return to this establishment again. Then that was converted to $10 off and removing the plate of nachos with hair in it off the bill.

This restaurant experience regarding service left something to be desired as well but after the explanation of our dinner I feel like it’s really pointless to even mention our terrible service experience in detail.

Go to el rodeo. Great service, great food, great dining experience over all....

I am changing my previous review, which was much better than this one. I still love their Shrimp Micheladas. Super good. Dang good. Last time we went it was fantastic. And I was surprised at some of the reviews talking about greasy. I thought they were crazy. Well... Went again, and this time was awful. No flavor on the rice and beans. None. My bacon wrapped shrimp ($20 dollar plate) was over done in the fryer, that or the fryers need cleaned. I took a couple bites, then boxed it up. Im not a complainer...I paid for it. My wife had the same beeria tacos which looked amazing. However... The sauce they brought was a separated, oily greasy, gross mess.

We were disappointed. This staff was not the same as our last visit not sure if that would be a reason for the difference.

We will be back again to try it once more. The Micheladas are what will bring us. But if the food comes out like it did this time, we will go next door and I wont be paying. It was BAD!!! We drove from Ritzville specifically for...

So good! Their tortillas are homemade it seemed! Had tacos rancheros( huge, not mexican street taco size) cooked with the habanero sauce added. Rojo borrito- huge. The refried beans tatse good, fresh along with the rice. Service was pretty good. They were very busy. They accommodated my no dairy request. I'd definitely eat there again if i was in this area again. Im glad we lucked up finding this on google. I wish there was one in seattle area!
