Tsunami Sushi — Restaurant in Moses Lake

We went here last night and again today. The food was AMAZING. Yes, we read the reviews and saw the service was maybe less than perfect but my dad assured me it was great. The staff made sure we had our food as quickly as possible although they were very busy last night. They customized my sushi roll very easily and checked on us here and there. It was less frequently than other places we've gone so take every opportunity to ask them for whatever you need when they come to the table. All of the food was super fresh and took a little longer to make but was soooo good. We had 4 different plates of food, hot tea, edamame and a large Chef's choice platter. The edamame was pretty salty so we ordered it without and made sure to salt it to our liking when it arrived at the table. Our sushi today was excellent [again]. If you were on the fence before, just go in and try it. You might just love it...

Worst service I’ve ever received! The waiter wrote down the wrong order, which was an honest mistake it happens. But when I told them that my order was wrong the owner refused to take the order back or bring out MY order without me paying for the mistake order, I didn’t think I should have to pay $20 that I didn’t have for a order I didn’t want so I tried to talk to the owner reasonably about it, but then he got aggressive and started to accuse me of lying, which was very confusing to me. How was I lying if I was telling him what happened and that I wanted to fix it without paying for what was, a simple mistake? By that point though the owner was getting fairly aggressive with me and I just wanted to leave, so I was forced to pay for everything, including the unwanted order. Came in on Valentine's day for dinner with hubby. Very busy and we completely understood that wait time would be a little higher so we were expecting delays, before anyone thinks we were unreasonable. The food itself was amazing! Coming from California where we have an abundance of choices for sushi, I have to say this place got high on our list. Completely unexpectedly delicious. What we had issues was service. The server who showed us to our table rushed off and threw the menus on our table before we even reached the table. Took forever for our food to arrive, I honestly think they forgot about us. Food finally arrived just before closing. Then we were rushed to eat and leave as it was already past closing time. Had it not been for the service I would have given them 5 stars.
