Hopefully this Moe's is not the same as the rest. I stop at Moe's on road trips for a quick bite with plenty of food. However, when going down the line at this Moe's, I was unfortunately disappointed. I ordered a chicken bowl. The order sequence went something like this: Plenty of rice, slim spoonful of beans, and about a half scoop of chicken (she actually filled the scoop, then emptied about half out). I asked if she could give some more chicken and she said "for extra". The amount of chicken in my bowl (for which they charge $10), was about the same as one chicken nugget. Then I asked for corn Pico de Gallo. Small scoop. Asked for regular Pico de Gallo. "For extra charge". What?? Asked for cheese. Small pinch. Lettuce, Black olives and cilantro. Acceptable portions. 5 of the toppings containers were empty so I don't know if they regularly have any other toppings. The salsa bar was 95% empty and quite a mess. No utensils in the self serve section. Not a huge deal, but we were the only ones there ordering and it didn't seem anyone else had ordered in the 20 minutes before we got there. Prices are up, portion sizes are down, and now we have to pay for simple toppings that used to be included. I understand the food costs have gone up, but when I'm paying $10-12 for a bowl of meat, I expect at least a normal portion of meat. And again, hopefully this situation only happens at this Moe's and not the stores I usually visit during road trips. It is connected to a gas station convenience store. Not sure if that has anything to do with my disappointing visit. If they are only going to fill the bowl halfway, they could cut costs by ordering smaller bowls. Check out the pics I'm posting.

So i went and visited moes tonight at 10pm they close at 11. they looked closed and basically had most of the food options put away and off the line already and had some ingredients in plastic to-go bowls to pick out of. It was an hour until closing and it looked like they were trying to pack up the food early. They said they were completely out of lettuce tonight, but maybe they just didn't want to prep some more. I asked for chicken and ground beef and I realized they charged me for steak and chicken and they didn't charge me for the medium queso I ordered. The workers just seemed out of it and like I was bothering them for ordering. They didn't ask if I wanted any chips or a drink. I just used the lettuce I had from home. The food is good, just the workers don't seem to really care all that much.

Moe's is like the Truck Stop Chipotle and I mean that in a good way. Not really a lot of different choices but all variations of the same thing. Isn't that the way it is with all Mexican food or Southwest in this case? It's a real find for a truck stop and be prepared to eat way too much food. My buddy takes it and eats it over a couple days he tells me. I always try the bowls but I may try something different I always say. I wish I had some smaller dishes and less pricey for when you want just a small meal. I would say one dish is good for two people. There is one in Midland Texas also which I have dined at before. Bring your appetite.

This was our 1st visit to a Moes. We felt ostracized because of our color. When we walked in all 4 employees of color stared at us as though we were not welcomed. 1 employee finally said "welcome to Moe's " after we started ordering and acted like we were bothering them. When we asked for the rice on the side instead of placed inside our tortilla/salad we were told we would have to pay for a side. We got a child's plate and was told we couldnt get more than 2 drink refills because we were an adult using a childs glass. While there a customer dropped his cheese and chips because the paper bag tore. They spilled out on ths floor and he was not even offered a replacement. Instead the employees acted put out cause they had to clean it up. It was 8 pm and their salsa table only had 3 salas on it. There were 3 slots empty. They also had no salt/pepper so we had to go inside the pilot food area to get some cause for some reason the employees couldnt get us any. The tray they handed us our food on was dirty and sticky and we saw them take trays from the tables and put them back in their stack to use again without...

Two and a half years ago i walked into this restaurant and said i will never be back. The staff was rude, the tables were dirty, the food prep area was nasty and the ladies working were not even wearing gloves. Today my husband and I decided we wanted Moes however didn’t want to drive to D’Iberville which we normally would just so we didn’t have to go to this restaurant. So we decided we would see how it was and if it was still bad we would just go somewhere else. Well we were surprised, we were greeted by the “welcome to moes”, the floors and tables were clear, the food prep area was very clean and the employees all had on gloves. Miyakal and Keshawna (hope i spelled them correct) were very nice and polite. They spoke to us as if we had known them for a while. I explained to them what had happened in the passed and even though they did not work there at the time apologized for our experience. We will definitely go back because of them. It is a 5 minute drive from our house instead of a 30 minute drive. Thank you ladies for the...
