Tay's BBQ — Restaurant in Moss Point

I don't often write reviews but I had to write this one before I even finished putting up my leftovers. 100/10. I've gone here a few times and just got bbq sandwiches or brisket sandwiches and it's always been amazing. One time I tried the pig sundae which was truly a great surprise. This time I was able to order ribs, sausage, brisket, mac & cheese and baked beans. Personally I'm a "fall off the bone" ribs type of girl and I was skeptical of these. But they were AMAZING, a good mix of firm but also not falling apart. I'd say it was the best of both worlds [firm/fall off the bone]. Everything was good as always & take my advice when I say DON'T SLEEP ON THEM BEANS 😩 Customer service was on point as always as well. Give this hidden gem a try 🤤

Oh I almost forgot the grits those are great too. Can't wait to come back and try...

So I just visited the Tay”s BBQ in Mississippi inside of the shell gas station. I ordered the Wings and Ribs with Mac n cheese, baked beans The mac n cheese was horrible. Water cheese and noodles. No taste whatsoever. The bake beans were a little bit on the ok side I could bear it. The ribs had a smell to them like they were on the way to not being eatable. Definitely did not have a smoke taste to them. I couldn’t get pass the smell. The potato salad was straight overly heavy handed with mayonnaise. It took the taste away from the whole things. Now the wings I can say were ok. No flavor at all unless you put sauce on them. I will not be back to this establishment. I give my experience a 1 out of 5. Nice and convenient for getting fuel and lottery tickets, barbecue was fair n brbq sauce was not so great for myself, A little bit to high on cooked food especially ribs... maybe next time I try something different like more tickets and less food..lol overall like I said Fair, My fuel reward card was not accepted bc I forgot to present it before pumping fuel, I like saving. 25 on every gallon especially these days 58.00 to fill up next time I look before pumping, at some other locations She'll can put your reward card in "After" or before pumping 🤔 food has gotten worse but scratch off gotten...
