Armando's Tacos & Grill — Restaurant in Moultrie

I have visited this location on many occasions and the food is usually good Authentic Mexican food. However, tonight the service and food were both lacking. I believe they have a new cook who is stingy with the meat on the tacos. We also ordered sopes, no sour cream and when they were brought to my table by the owner I let him know that I had not ordered them with sour cream. He asked the cook to fix the issue and she merely scraped the sour cream off the top along with the tomatoes and avocados added a little lettuce and sent them back out to me. (No tomato or avocado when they were brought back out)I couldn’t eat them because the sour cream was still on them in spots. So, I asked for them to be removed from my ticket and Armando, the owner, said that he couldn’t do that unless the waitress that took my order came up to pay for them. I was very frustrated by this point and still don’t understand why he would charge the waitress, when it was the cook’s mistake!!! Of course I didn’t want the waitress to be responsible for the cook’s mistakes so I paid for them but still believe the owner should have handled the issue differently! Armando is getting a lot of our business fellow Moultrian’s and he should respect the customer enough that when there is a mistake it should be fixed right! Just to mention, never got any...

The food is authentic and the place is “nice”. A large group came with me (16 or so) and we really had the focus of one waitress who was new. It doesn’t make a lick of sense to have a new waitress serve a large group whatsoever. The entire table was getting frustrated with the lack of attention to detail (messing up orders). Refills and new chips when they nearly yelled for them. I get that there was only 3 waitresses for the place but during lunch/post church rush, it is poor management. I don’t frequent Moultrie often but next time I won’t be back to this...

What was supposed to be a quick stop for some lunch on the way back to Valdosta, turned into an impromptu dining in experience after I ended up locking my keys in my car while waiting for my food 🤦🏾‍♀️ I was so pleased with everything… the service, the food, the drinks!
