I love your food!! So much better than the one I’m Spring Ridge. But our experience last night was AWFUL. We arrived at 7:15 and did not leave until 9:30. We had a party of nine. We were supposed to be part of the Tri-Star group who tried to make a reservation and it was screwed up. HOWEVER! A large group from Tri Star came in AFTER we had already been seated and sat in the back room. (That pulled tables together for us outside) We waited a good 20 minutes to get our drink ORDER and another at least 15 minutes to get our drinks. The waitress did apologize but with LOTS of excuses. Look… we get it but stop with the excuses about how you’re poorly staffed because it’s October and you weren’t expecting nice weather and the karate group etc… just take the order. The more you are making long winded excuses… the farther behind you’re getting. and we heard that from her every time she came to the table. And watched her make this explanation at all her tables.
The VERY LARGE group of Tri-Star guests in the back room were served before us and we arrived at least 10 minutes before they started trickling in. I asked the male server who was carrying on a conversation behind us if someone could please get us our drinks and as he up/down’d me… with an attitude said he would look into it and carried in gods conversation!! No offer for an appetizer or just a basket of BREAD. The table behind us offered us their unused bread because we had been sitting for so long. We asked for sides of Mayo and ranch and she wanted to CONFIRM we were going to use them… seriously? We asked for ToGo containers for our sauce. She forgot those and had an excuse AGAIN. She just got confused with our checks b/c separate checks can be difficult ?? Like blaming us because we had separate checks. Acknowledge you forgot and go get them. You guys are a loved establishment. I’ll always eat there But last night was AWFUL! Lyndsay the manager could’ve done a little something as she was the one who delivered our drinks. Not even an apology but an excuse that whoever called to make the reservation made the mistake!! We totally understood you were busy but understand where we were coming from to. We were there 1st. people were being served before us who came in after us. The attitude and excuses were a bit much. When we dine there and get the blonde school teacher… she’s always fun...
Read moreJ & P is a local treasure. I always start with a bowl of cream of crab and their boneless garlic wings. Slowly, I peel the crisped-to-perfection breading off of my delectable chicken nibbles. I save this newly formed pile of breaded gold for later. NOW that the chicken nugget is reverted to its natural state, I slowly soak these naked nuggets in an extra dirty martini (grey goose, no vermouth, extra olives). After the crisp nip of olives has soaked into my tendies, a light brush into my cream of crab. It's like the scene in ratatouille (the rat movie). The main character (Remy rat) puts to unlike flavor combinations in his rat mouth to make something extraordinaryl! Words can't describe the symphony of flavor, but I'll try nonetheless: (IMAGINE)dectant deep fried naked chicken, with the slightest earthy olive tang, balanced transformitively with a combination of crustacean cream, finished with a hint of the driest sherry. Truly a Masterpiece you must try.
To finish my meal, I take the chunky tang of their homemade blue cheese dressing (came with my wings) to fill the olives left in my martini. Truly an Italian delicacy. Don't forget the best part! I roll those stuffed puppies, encrusting them perfectly in crisp garlic I removed carefully from my chicken. A bliss of texture and sharpness delight my senses.
I can not recommend this restaurant enough. The menu is massive. ENDLESS COMBIATIONS OF AUTHENTIC ITALIAN CHARM AWAIT!

Read moreIf you have allergies, don't bother coming here or be duped by their dairy-free and gluten-free options. They put whatever they want on your pizza no matter what you order.
Our family of eight has three children with significant dairy allergies and because of this, we ordered three pizzas, two of them dairy-free.
All three pizzas, however, were made with regular dairy cheese, which we didn't realize until all three of the children with allergies started having allergic reactions in the restaurant. We had to take the youngest out of the restaurant immediately because she started swelling up and choking.
That was at 8:30pm. It is now 1am and the youngest is still up crying, itching with hives, and continues to cough and choke. All because someone in the kitchen couldn't be bothered to read the order, pay attention to what they were making, or care enough about customers.
To top it all off, my son pointed out a curly black hair my salad bowl and sorry, no one in my family has black hair.
They didn't end up charging us for the meal, but that doesn't do much when you have to listen to your three year old daughter unnecessarily suffer and debate whether to take her to the hospital or not. Don't offer a dairy free option if doesn't matter to you whether or not you use it.
This was an embarrassment. Clearly won't be...
