I was born and raised in Los Angeles. Grew up first generation. So I ordered menudo today. I was very disappointed. First of all it was $20. Okay it's not California and California is expensive and that's $15 over there. But what I expected was to have a bowl full of meat. I probably could count it and I did. I probably had maybe 10 pieces of meat That's why I gave it only three stars and if you don't know what menudo is, it comes with meat. I'm not going to tell you what kind but it's great and they did good in cooking this meat. So to be honest with you, unless I really want menu though and I'm desperate. I would go here for menudo but I won't pay the price that I did for what I got. The pata which is the foot was nice ad but not necessary. This is delicious authentic food! We got the chorizo tacos, pollo (chicken) tacos and Carnitas tacos, along with chips and salsa and two tamales (green/verde)-which I had previously tried when it was just a grocery. All was delicious- my favorite was the chorizo with its slight kick. I appreciated on this hot day the cucumber and radish as a palate refresher. We also got a caramel churro- which is a little pricey but oh so worth it! 4 tacos for 14.99! I am so excited our Etown area has this gem.

I have definitely had better, and it’s over priced for the quality. would say that the birria tacos were great however the consume was way too oily Birria cost 4.15 a taco. Also order a side of arroz y frijoles which came out to $9 alone. The worst of the food was my chicken enchiladas. The salsa verde was good but the chicken was so dry, bland and literally pale white that i questioned if this chicken was made at the restaurant or came out of a can, I just threw the enchiladas away and shared birria tacos with my wife 🤦🏽‍♂️
