Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Mount Juliet

I really hate complaining like this but things are too expensive to not get what you order nowadays. We were in the area on vacation and stopped by two days in a row. The first day, the staff just wasn't very friendly, which I can look past. The second day, they got our order wrong. I ordered a Galaxy latte and a caramel latte, and got two galaxy lattes. (My husband does not like mocha) I also ordered a bagel sandwich with no meat, just egg and cheese and received a plain bagel, missing the egg and cheese. So we paid over 5 dollars for just a plain bagel? When we picked up our order, the staff seemed more concerned with talking and laughing so I guess it tracks. I double checked my app to make sure it wasn't me who ordered wrong, and I didn't. I called to request a refund but they can't issue that straight up, only somehow on the app you can request one? She didn't really explain well. But she did say we could come by for a free replacement that day or the next, but we were already leaving to go home and just passing through, so we couldn't do that. As I had said we were here in vacation. So I tried to see if there was a way for a refund on the app, and I couldn't see any way to do that. I am just disappointed with this location. We are frequent customers at the one in our home town Maryville, TN and they have never disappointed us like this. Our orders are always correct and they are always friendly there. I really just want a refund for the wrong...

This place was just okay.

Mediocre at best.

I live in Cookeville but came down to work for a bit in Mount Juliet and decided to try this place for the first time.

Upon entering, couldn't tell if you could eat inside or not so just went through the drive thru.

The cashier was very sweet.

I ordered a decaf latte with milk and vanilla and peppermint with cool whip and peppermint pieces. I also ordered a bacon ciabatta bread which originally comes with Gouda cheese which I'm not a fan of so I tried subsituting with cheddar instead and was told they couldn't substitute.

Upon first taste I tasted no peppermint so I asked the cashier if I could have a few extra pumps of peppermint because I couldn't taste it. I told them I could pay for it if there was a cost. They gave me my coffee back, still didn't taste like peppermint but it was still good.

I am not usually one to complain. The majority of my reviews are usually positive but this sandwich was atrocious. It tasted like it was made with fully cooked bacon. The bread was dry and tasteless.

The total was $23 dollars.

Yes the coffee was great but what was really the highlight of my stay there was definitely the service! I had the absolute pleasure of being served by one of their employees, who's name was Pixel and I was just blown away by them. Such amazing recommendations, you could tell that they loved working there and what they were doing and I really just admire that. The whole time they were making my drink we chatted up and they were the absolute sweetest barista I've ever met! I will 100% come again just to get my coffee made by them! I don't know if this establishment reads these but if they do, give them a raise for their amazing customer service and for making my day with their smile...
