Angelo's II Pizzeria & Ristorante — Restaurant in Mount Laurel Township

I ordered the Grandma tomato pie and after the delivery, I called to complain bc there was no mozzarella cheese on it. The person who answered the phone said that it did not come with mozz cheese and of course I argued thinking I had it before with mozzarella. They offered to make one with mozzarella and deliver ASAP. Long story short, I was amazed when I received a call back a few minutes later bc the person I spoke with was genuinely concerned and still trying to make sense of what happened. We realized that I ordered the wrong pizza. 😳 Overall they were so understanding and handled it so much better than I could have ever expected. I have always thought they’re the absolute best pizza place in this area due to taste and quality of their food, but this time they really showed how much they care for their customers. I would say this experience is the epitome of a 5 star business who genuinely cares for their clientele.

Probably the WORSE food I ever had from a pizza spot! I had high hopes considering it had 4.6 stars (not sure how) but I ordered a salad and a pizza. The pizza was bland and soft no crispiness to the crust and slices just fell over limp when you go to put it on a plate. Sauce was bitter and lacked the normal traditional flavors of an Italian pizza. Very skimpy on the cheese as well, definitely not worth $16. And the salad was HORRIBLE, I was craving a salad so I ordered the chicken ceasar, chicken was super dry and unseasoned. Lettuce was limp and not crunchy , croutons were soggy and wet and not sure what kind of ceasar dressing they use but it was not tasty. Very disappointing, and a waste...

If it was not for Angelos II, I would not have graduated college and begun my teaching career. Angelos II is always there when I am tired and cranky and can barely get off the couch to cook. Their menu is very diverse, so if you want something a little light, try a salad or a wrap. If you're super stressed and need the carbs, try pizza and some mozzarella sticks. Up late grading? A nice cheesesteak sandwich. I have not had a bad thing from here.
