Asuka Sushi NJ — Restaurant in Mount Laurel Township

Used to place orders from this place multiple times per week until they refused my business today after I had a work emergency and could not come and pick up my food right away. The owner called me and I explained I was having a problem at work so I'd come in 20 minutes, I was untimately unable to leave work then, so I called a little while after to see if they still had my food and apologized for being late with my request (but still expressed that I would like to pick up my food) but the owner REFUSED to take my business anymore. VERY disappointed in their customer service as I have been a loyal customer here on a weekly basis for MONTHS. Things happen that people sometimes can't control, so it's very upsetting that she couldn't understand that. Clearly my service isn't valued here. Needless to say, I will obviously not be returning here NOR will I ever refer someone to this...

It was terrible ! I had delivery , when I got the food and sat down before I opened the bag it stunk . I still opened the bag looked at everything it didn't look appetizing I still tried a bite and almost threw up . I called them back to ask if they could send the delivery boy back (I don't have a car) and explained that it smelled awful . The lady on the phone asked a manager they said they never had a complaint before so they were not going to do anything to help me . She tried to tell me what sushi was when I eat sushi all the time and always eat the same thing and I never have a problem ! I now have to find a ride up there to try to handle this because they didn't want to help me over the phone . I don't recommend this...

Pretty upset overall here. My fiancè and I decided to treat ourselves tonight (at least we thought) and ordered the Spider Roll & Filet Mígon Habachi entree. The total came out to about $45 and we were very, very disappointed with the portions we received. The habachi meal was about 25 bucks and I think we got 3 pieces of steak about the size of a quarter. To think places like this need to protect their margins by absolutely ripping off customers is just sad and upsetting. I will absolutely not be doing buisness back here, i’d rather take my $50 and pour it into a business that respects its customers. Please just stay away, take your hard earned money and use it somewhere...
