This morning, I tried to place a mobile order via the Dunkin' app but the order "failed to process" and said to try again. Instead of trying to place the order again via the app, I walked into the location and placed a new order at their register with some additions.
While waiting for my order, I noticed the "failed" mobile order waiting for me. Noticing this, I explained to one of the workers what happened with the mobile order failing to process and that I needed to cancel and refund the new order because I didn't want them to waste food and I didn't want to be charged twice. During this, the manager/owner comes over to assist. I explained what happened with the "failed" mobile order placed via their app and how I needed to cancel and refund the new order. The conversation that transpired is one that was completely uncalled for, extremely unprofessional, and lacked any empathy for the issue I experienced with their mobile app and the horrible customer service!! They're very quick to take the order and your money but when something goes wrong that was 100% the fault of the app and the location, they become combative instead of helpful. I demonstrated the issue to him on my phone and even showed him that the order didn't process, but it was still my fault in his eyes.
In the end, I received the refund and left with exactly with what I paid for via the "failed" mobile order since the app charged my card even though it "failed to process". My wife and daughter have been visiting this location for YEARS but after today's experience, WE will be taking our business elsewhere. Maybe he was having a bad morning, not sure, but if this is how he interacts with his customer's, the manager/owner should not be running any...
Read moreWhere do I even start... maybe getting harassed this morning in the drive thru by the gentleman with the long pinky nail? Had issues with my cards and was screaming at me to come inside while I was trying to count change. As if I was not embarrassed enough that my cards weren't going through, to continue to be yelled at by this man was even worse. This man also has previously asked me "what do you not have any money, why do you do that?" when I previously had to give partial payment with cash and the rest on a card--a few months ago. This location SPECIFICALLY messes up their food items more than any other location--i order a bagel with cream cheese toasted and get a barely warm bagel with a clump of cream cheese in the middle of the bagel or order it with butter and only 1 side is buttered. They put WAY too much sugar in their coffee and are not even consistent enough for me to know how much to tell them to put in. They are the RUDEST people I have come across, no thank you, no have a nice day, no customer service skills what so ever. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt for over a year now, consistently. I buy coffee there every single morning and most mornings a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Dunkin has officially lost my business, more than $2000 a year, because I have tried to reach out to them to advise them of this horrible location and all i was offered was free coffee. Ill be going to 7-11, McDonalds or a local Bagel shop...all of which out of my way or inconvenient to me, JUST to make sure Dunking Donuts gets no more...
Read moreI have visited this location in the past, where it was necessary for me to leave the drive thru and come into the store to address a problem with an erroneous order at the window. In regards to the experience, the employee was very rude and agitated. However, the manager worked quickly with me to resolve the problem.
Yesterday morning, i decided to give them another try. When i approached the drive up window, there was no greeting or salutation. When giving me change, there was no comment about the monetary exchange. When handing me my breakfast sandwich, there was nothing said. I was at least expecting a "thank you."!!!! I knew stating to have a nice day would definitely be out of the question.
When previously encountering a problem at the drive up window. I had recommended to the manager that they place someone friendly who had strong customer service skills at the window to interact with customers.
Within this radius, there are multiple Dunkin's on every corner. Not to mention competitors such as Starbucks who consistently interact and greet customers with courtesy and respect! In today's climate, you need to be grateful and thank people for patronizing your business! This is nothing you should ever take for granted as businesses come and go. Although this is a convenient location, I will never return to your establishment, because if you can't value me; with a minimum of a thank you, You will not get anymore of my dunkin' money!!!!!!
Courtesy and good customer service means...
