Cottage Inn Pizza Flushing — Restaurant in Mount Morris Charter Township

Pizza is good but service is horrible. I ordered a few weeks ago and the pizza was not correct. I called and they offered me a partial refund which is good for me. She was very nice about it. 2 weeks later still no refund. I ordered again and when I went to pick it up I was going to talk to the manager. I attempted to speak to the assistant manager about the credit and she said "I don't know anything about that." I tried to explain the situation and she said she had been there a year and had never heard of it and she is the assistant manager. When I asked if there was a manager I could talk to about the situation she said " Like I said I'm the assistant manager hello!" I then asked if there was another one and she said there wasn't another one there at that time. I then attempted to pay for my pizza so I could leave. I put my card in and looked up and she was in the back of the store on the phone. After about 5 minutes I went to the other girl at the phones and asked if that was my pizza behind rhe counter. She then called the assistant manager back to get me my food. I understand being stressed but don't take it out on the customers. The first time we ordered from this place out pizza was late. The delivery driver explained why they were late, saying the cook messed up our pizza and didn’t want to correct it, she made him make us a new pizza. We received 3 pizzas that night, we only ordered 2 so she generously gave us the messed up pizza even after that cook said he wanted to keep it and eat it himself. We were disappointed with the wait for the pizza but after we heard the story we figured we’d give them another shot. Tonight we ordered pizza and breadsticks. We ordered at 6:31 on our end it told us 40 min for until delivered. An hour and 20 min goes by we call, they told us all delivered are out and it should be there soon.. it showed up 5 min after that call, cold. Called to make a complaint and ask for a refund. The only way we could get out money back is if we give them the pizza back that we waited an hour and 30 for. $40 for food to be told no refund but you can get credit to come back.. we will not be returning.

We ordered online at 6:20 PM. The estimated delivery time was 7:15 PM. At 7:35 I started trying to call the store. Every call just went to voicemail after several rings. At 7:44 someone finally picked up and asked me to hold. She didn’t wait for a response, just put me on hold. I sat on hold for 10 minutes and then the call dropped. Since then I’ve been trying to call back but keep getting “the wireless customer you are trying to reach is not available.” It is now 8:24 and I’m sitting in a drive thru to get food somewhere else because I have no idea if my food will ever be here. I will never order from this location again, not that it will be in business much longer as it’s obviously being run very poorly.

Food finally arrived around 8:50. Apparently they have one delivery driver and one person working in the store. The owner should be ashamed subjecting two people to this level of stress. The restaurant should have been closed or at least online ordering turned off to manage...
