The so-called "fried rice" was a visually unappealing, bizarre shade of yellow that left me questioning whether it was even safe to consume. Very mixed bag lately... I used to absolutely love this place, but lately, it’s just not up to reasonable standards. Food has become inconsistent... the rice has always been kinda bland here (probably bought in in as a pre mixed sort of rice), but it seems worse lately. My Mongolian chicken was 80% onions, very little of the Mongolian flavored broth... which is a shame because I’d usually add some of that broth to my rice to make it less bland. The flavor of the Mongolian chicken is still pretty good, but when they skimp out on it and you don’t get much, it’s kinda pointless... tried the Wonton soup this time around and it was absolutely dreadful... very bland, tastes of nothing, weird unknown unflavorful meat in the wantons. Absolutely appalled by this place! Not only do they often not give you everything you order, they decided it appropriate to tell me to come back and pay because they thought my $50 bill was FAKE! After they PUSHED me out saying "here take food" and literally pushed it toward me nearly off the counter. Very unprofessional and hard to communicate with. Following this, I took the exact same $50 to the restaurant next door, Teta's Grill, and they were fine taking it because they had the marker that shows if it's real or not! Literally will not set foot in this place again. So upset! Looked at me crazy and had to get someone from back to look at it too! They've clearly not handled enough cash to know what an old 50 looks like. Wish I could give them zero stars with all the issues we've had ordering...
