Wing Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Mount Morris Charter Township

REALLY good food, have enjoyed this place for years....despite having to deal with the "mean lady" who is extremely short with you on the phone. However, the last THREE times we've ordered have been a terrible experience. Again, great food... but no matter when you call she always says "20 minute" then hangs up. All three times I've showed up 30 minutes later and still waited an additonal 45min to an hour for my food. I assumed it was a fluke the first time, I was pissed the second time but still gave them another chance, the third time I have decided I probably will no longer frequent this place...not for anything between 4-8PM at least. 5 stars for the food but giving the very low rating based on the poor customer service and the inability for them to communicate proper wait times. If it's going to be at least an hour... tell me an hour. This place was a lot better when the younger kids were taking the orders...

The food is pretty good overall. Most options taste great, though the love mein in particular is a disappointment. It's closer to a mix of noodles and vegetables in a runny gravy than anything else. It comes with a side of rice (which I'd assume is why there's so much sauce). But the noodles are supposed to be the centerpiece of the dish. Can't say I enjoyed it one bit. I prefer something closer to Panda Express. The Hong da restaurant across town does this particular dish quite well.

If there's one thing to enjoy here, it's the chicken fried rice. It's quite moist and has an almost creamy texture to it. It complements the chicken dishes pretty well.

Honestly the best Chinese food around hands down. The "mean lady" as some call her is by no way mean. Short and to the point yes occasionally and sometimes hard to understand, but I would never call her mean. My family has been getting food from here for years and she always asks how the family is doing with a big smile. I would like to point out that the hours are wrong on google. As of 9/3/2015 their hours are the following:
