Cooper River Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

I’ve only been here twice and both times have been great. But more importantly, I firmly believe the man who runs it is just the nicest dude. Like he would go out of his way to help someone if their tire went flat in the parking lot. He just gives me those vibes. When you walk in the shop, gonna be treated like family.

I go to get my nails done a few shops down from Cooper River and yesterday I saw him running with a smile on his face to hand a busy nail tech his coffee at the nail salon when the nail tech couldn’t pick it up himself. This is a man with a humble heart running a business the tway it should be run. I will always support that.

Oh, and the coffee is great!

Staying a short time in Charleston and being particular on our coffee, we sought out the best of the best. Cooper River Coffee Roasters delivered, and every member of our family left with something they loved each day. 5 of 7 days we were taken care of by Sean with excellent service, a great espresso roast, and awesome kid drinks. He is a one man shop that really gets it done, with great equipment (Rancilio 2 group machine), great sauces (Monin and Ghirardelli, I believe), and a welcome atmosphere.

Visiting Charleston last week we searched and found cooper river coffee. The eye-opening aroma of coffee beans hits you the moment you open the door. The shop is simple but comfortable. The owner was quiet but friendly. And the coffee...well the coffee was done just right. I had the dark roast and the kids had a blended cold drink. I bought a bag beans to take back home. I ground the Highlander grogg this morning and am enjoying the a perfect cup of coffee in the beautiful dry heat of Arizona. I highly recommend making a stop here.
