The Pharmacy is incompetent, slow, and rude. My mother is 87 years old with eye problems. Her doctor put a special lens in her eye that required anitbiotics to prevent infection. The prescription was called in before noon on Friday October 8. We went to lunch and the store then went to pick up the prescription at just before 3:00 p.m. (not quite four hours after it had been called in by the clinic). A LONG line at the drive-thru sent me into the store. The girl at the pick-up desk claimed "there was nothing in their system" and I should check later. When I insisted, identified the doctor and clinic, and the time I knew the prescription had been called in, she checked again, then she wandered back to speak with the pharmacist and moved a few things around behind the back desk and typed something into another computer. Then she came back and told me it would be 30 minutes and 40-something dollars for the prescription. I told her I would be back to pick it up. I took my mother home, put away her groceries, fed cats, and went back after 4:00 p.m. (an hour after I had been told it would be 30 minutes for the order). This time, there were only two people in the drive-thru, so I got in line and waited more than twenty minutes to reach the window at just before 4:30--only to be told the prescription WAS still NOT READY! That was an hour and a half after I"d been told 30 minutes and about five hours after the prescription was called in by the doctor. Her excuse was "they were short-handed, but would be open until 8:00 p.m., and I should come back!." I don't know how many hands they need to simply be honest with their customers. There were at least four people there when I first arrived, and if the first abrupt girl had just said "I am sorry, but we're really backed up, it won't be ready until after 7:00 p.m." I wouldn't have made the second trip that has now cost the pharmacy at least...
Read moreMy 6 yr old child left the clinic at 545pm and I arrived to CVS drive thru to get the antibiotic she needed before 6pm. The window was open and lights on. The staff were there. A young woman came to the window and asked if she could help me. I said I just left the clinic and I need to get the antibiotic that was prescribed for my child. She said they closed in a minute. I said what does that mean. She replied we do not have time to fill the prescription. My child is so sick with a UTI ( fever chills and nausea ) and she really needed that antibiotic to start fighting the infection. If you are closed - shut the window. If you are closed do not come to the window and ask to help me. What terrible judgment and practice to not fill the prescription for a sick child during business hours at that !!!! If you close before 6pm on Sunday then update your hours!!!!! There was no other place for me to go. I will never have my prescription sent here again. I had a choice between Walmart or CVS and I choice wrong to choose CVS!!! How can you hurt a child...
Read moreIf I could give it NO STAR I would. Worst service I have ever experienced anywhere. Pharmacy Staff is rude and always too busy to help. This COVID testing is a joke. It clogs up the drive thru line so that people picking up prescriptions have to wait for hours to pick up. It's not any better to go inside because the person taking care of the drive thru window is ALSO taking care of the 'pick up' window, so no need to go inside for faster service. They need to do something different with their COVID testing so that customers who are sick, not feeling well anyway, don't have to sit in line for 30 to 45 minutes to pick up their prescriptions because this facility is doing COVID testing thru their drive thru window. They have TWO drive thrus, but are only allowing the use of one. I'm changing to Walgreen Pharmacy as soon as I can make sure that they take my insurance! This has gone on at this CVS pharmacy for far too long. I've given them more than ample time to 'get it together', but it just seems to get...
