I recently visited my local Casey's on July 19, 2024, around 6:20 PM, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. With a recommendation that they served great pizza, I eagerly decided to give it a try. However, it's safe to say that this will be my first and last visit.
Upon entering the store, my excitement quickly waned when I made my way to the pizza counter. To my surprise, there was no one present to take my order. I stood there for a few moments, hearing conversation coming from a small room to the right of the counter. A staff member eventually poked her head out wearing an apron seemingly doubling as a wiping cloth, which didn’t instill much confidence in the cleanliness of the establishment.
When she finally noticed me, I inquired about a slice of cheese pizza, only to hear the disappointing response that they had “lots of orders today” and unfortunately, no slices were available. What struck me as most frustrating was her disengagement; she simply walked back into her conversation without offering any alternatives, such as the option to prepare a fresh pizza. It was a brief encounter, filled with abruptness that left me feeling unvalued as a customer.
I was left feeling not only disappointed but also confused. I would have been more than willing to wait for a freshly made whole pizza, but the lack of customer service and the way the interaction was handled made it clear that my presence didn’t matter. A welcoming demeanor and a willingness to accommodate customers during business hours goes a long way in the food service industry.
In summary, Casey's missed the mark during my visit. From the lack of availability of pizza slices to the dismissive attitude of the staff, my expectations were never met. It’s unfortunate because I was looking forward to trying their pizza, and becoming a regular customer. However, based on this experience I’ll be exploring other pizza options were there is actually...
Read moreVery good food, but all of the prices are a dollar more than what is listed on the menu board. I ordered a 12 inch turkey sub, which was listed as $6.49, but the receipt that was printed said $7.49 (pre-tax), and I did not order any extras. I mentioned this to the cashier, her name was Melinda, and she literally rolled her eyes at me and audibly scoffed, and didn't say a word to me, charging me the extra dollar. This is not the first time I have been treated rudely by this very same cashier. I live about 1/2 block away from this store, so they are my go-to for pretty much anything I need in a hurry, and every time I am unlucky enough to get Melinda as a cashier, she is very rude and hostile towards me. I have never met her outside of the store, nor have I ever said anything rude or acted negatively towards her, but she has it in her mind that she doesn't like me, and she's definitely not afraid to let me know, each and every day. It's almost enough to make me start driving down to the Hwy 62 location from now on, as her nasty, vindictive attitude can really put a damper on my good mood. Everyone else there has been as friendly as can be, and I go there throughout the day, nearly every day, from mornings to...
Read moreThe store itself is good, but because of one employee by the name of Miranda, we will never return. My injured wife and I stopped there today, right after she was released from the hospital. My wife was buying a 7up and both hands are injured, she was covered in scrapes and bandages, and struggled to get the 7up on the counter.. That woman Miranda snatched the bottle from her, yanking in her swollen bruised thumb in the process. My wife cried out and told that woman she had hurt her. All she got in return was rudeness and no acknowledgement of the pain she had caused. When my wife told me, I went back jn to get her name and she laughed in my face in a condescending way. We plan in talking to a manager again, in person the next time we are in Mountain Home. My rating would be changed to 5 stars if this issue was addressed and that woman held...
