I loved their food. I have been here about four times. However, the last time I went there was August 30th. As I ordered and waited for my food, something happened to turn me off. I seen a hispanic gentleman walk in and go back behind the counter. He wore the restaurant's shirt, jeans and latex gloves. He clocked in and proceeded to grab a broom to go sweep. One of the female employees said something to him. He stopped sweeping and went back behind the food counter. I watched him like a hawk 👁. He started replenishing the flour tortillas and some of the condiments. He finished there and went into a back storage room. He touched others things before he replenished the foam to-go plates. He never changed his gloves. Wearing gloves (are not just to protect the person wearing them). Most importantly, (they protect the person consuming the food from the things that you touch)! Cross contaminating food, dishes, glasses, utensils, tables, etc isn't safe! Additionally, the female cooks were not keeping the cooking area sanitary thumbs down! The extra condiments (slaw in a bucket) were not covered to prevent flies or customers breathing over it. We live in a time that every step to keep from getting food poisoning or Covid 19 😷 is imperative!!! Unfortunately, I will NOT be going back unless these things are...
Read moreHorrible!!!!! Hmmm I am not sure what kind of people are reviewing this place, to say “great food” and “clean”??? So, I come from Los Angeles (traveling for work), we came here given the good reviews...First of all, we came in and we notice a bunch of whole chickens on the floor and you see more on a bloody bucket and the lady is picking up each one and putting it on the heat of the stove burning it. I actually asked what they were doing and the cashier mentioned, the lady was burning away the feathers to use the chicken for soup (Yuck!). Anyways, we proceeded to order....I ordered 3 popusas and my husband the enchiladas plate. It took a veryyyyyyy longggggg time to get our food. I was actually excited thinking they were going to be great since it appeared they were making it from scratch...WRONG!!! The popusas are the WORST I have ever had. PLAIN, no flavor, a bunch of flour and not much of the actual filling. My husbands enchiladas were better then the popusas but not the greatest. We wouldn’t come here ever again and don’t recommended. We still question, why does it have so many good reviews? Either these are fake or people up here don’t...
Read moreI usually come here for a late night dinner after a long day at work. They are usually open until 10 on weekdays.
They have a wide selection of food. I would suggest getting the papusas. They make it right in front of you after you order. I have had the enchiladas and burritos too. The meat is usually very juicy and flavorful. They have a liquor license and offer various beers.
The location isn't great (The shopping center it is located in can seem dark and deserted at night), but the restaurant itself is clean. The menu is large and easy to read and the staff wear custom shirts with the name of the restaurant. I think the owners are doing a good job of keeping the quality of the dining...
