This place is easy to overlook but it’s really tasty! The atmosphere is “Hole in the wall” type so typically I order to go or sit outside. Service is average, not rude but not super friendly either which is fine for me in this type of restaurant. Agua de piña was fresh and even had fresh pieces of pineapple in it. I also like that they gave it to me without ice so I got moneys worth. Chile relleno plate was good. Large chile portion with good amount of cheese and batter. Beans and rice were average but good enough. I appreciate that they gave me 5 corn tortillas to go with the plate versus most places only giving 3. Carnitas here were on point, flavorful and crispy outside, was great on the taco. Quesadilla I order was flor de calebaza and this is the only place I can find it and it’s so super good! If you are sensitive to spicy ask for without chilis. Made with handmade tortilla, this is definitely my go-to here. Both Salsas are spicy especially the green one so be aware! I love spicy but I can see it being way to hot for most people. Lemons, radish slices, cucumber slices, and sides of salsa were included in my order without asking which was nice. My personal favorite taqueria in...

I was visiting from another state and decided to give this restaurant a try because of the reviews, but don’t get FOOLED. I had a very unpleasant experience ordering from them through DoorDash. I placed an order for tacos and added in the notes that I wanted SALSA ROJA Y VERDE with my food. When the first order arrived, there were no sauces at all. The tacos were too dry to eat, so I decided to place another order for just one item and called the restaurant to explain the situation. The person I spoke with assured me they would include the sauces this time. I was very understanding at the time and gave them another chance. After waiting another 40 minutes, the second order arrived and once again they failed to include the SALSAS. At that point it was clear they are unprofessional and do not bother reading their DoorDash ticketing or customer notes or cared at all to make sure they made it up to the client the second time. The first order should have been correct, and or after promising to fix it, they still messed up. As a business, they need to get it together. THE TACOS ENDED UP IN THE TRASH BECAUSE THEY...

This place was our second choice after checking out the truck. My mom was in town and we wanted to try different meats. We came here for specifically the Cesos which apparently they no longer offer.

FOOD: We tried the tripa tacos 8/10. Suadero 8/10. Cueritos 8/10. Suadero Burrito 8/10 a ton of meat. Pupuses Chicharron con queso 9/10. Green Salsa is super spicy so be warned. Overall the meats seemed good but everything tasted a bit fatty. Like it had all been cooked in lard. And although I understand its a style maybe it still makes it feel heavy and we dont prefer it.

SERVICE: The service was fine. We came later in the afternoon and the cashier seemed over it. She wasn't rude necessarily but seemed tired and out of it. We asked about cesos and seemed annoyed but its still listed on their menu so maybe they should remove it. Also we got there and all the tables were dirty which once we asked they cleaned but i hate being that person.

Overall I guess I would only recommend it if you're really in the mood to try meats you can't find anywhere else but other than that we've tried better...

When I pulled in there were a line of cars with people waiting them for their orders from the food truck. I knew it was going to be good. I put my order in for a chorizo burrito. WOW! Hands down the best I have had north of the border. Flavorful, spicy and HUGE... I could have had this as two meals as the burrito is big. The included salsas of red and green were really good as well. Just amazing.

Great tacos, best eaten fresh. We enjoyed the al pastor, carnitas, asada and costilla. I over ordered and the taco I ate later was less tasty because the tortillas were hard and dry. The green salsa (aguacate?) was so good! Would return for more tacos and maybe to try the soups, they looked popular and great for the rainy weather.
