Update:
I have been to this location several times since my first review, and I feel obligated, and privileged, to update my assessment. I had previously complained about the meat being on the bland side, presumably due to a lack of seasoning. I can now report that every burger since then has been deliciously seasoned. The burger construction is the best you could hope for. The patties and toppings aren't just haphazardly slopped onto the bun like they are at so many other restaurants; they are carefully placed atop each other so that there is a nice distribution in every bite. The fries are still the best in town. I have always held McDonald's as the golden fry standard, but that honor now goes to Five Guys. The milkshakes are great, and sometimes I'll stop in just for that if I'm not too hungry. This location is quite possibly the cleanest fast food establishment I have ever frequented, aside from your average Chik-Fil-A. The main entrance seating area is deceptively small; there is probably 3-4x as much seating around the side and back of the restaurant, and they keep the tables clean and free from wobbling. There is also a very pleasant, small, shaded outdoor seating area. Now, let's talk about the staff. Every employee that I have encountered at this location has been courteous, polite, friendly, and professional. You won't see the sad and sullen faces of people who hate their jobs that you might encounter in other fast food establishments. The gentleman that I assume is the manager clearly runs a tight ship, as evidenced by the cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of the food. He appears to work just as hard as the people that he manages, instead of just sitting around and barking orders. I could stand there and watch this incredibly well-organized guy build burgers all day. I don't often emotionally gush over people doing their jobs well, but I'm almost in tears writing this as I think about how well this place is run. I highly recommend this location for your burger...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place, unfortunately they are not taking their business seriously.
The food is decent and there are good options (I really appreciate bacon and/or mushrooms that you don't have at In-n-out).
On the other hand, burger and fries are absolutely NOT better than what you would find at in-n-out. So why would you pay twice the price? This place is expensive as hell (for what it is).
Also, they give you the food in bags to go and it's pretty impossible to check your order. Too bad, because they are not very good at preparing your order carefully.
Last time I went, I order 3 burgers and 2 fries. They give me my order, I recount and find only 2 burgers. I let the guy know that one is missing and he starts preparing something (randomly?). So I ask him how he knows which burger is missing. He tells me he just knows .. Well, I wasn't very surprised to see once at home that my order was COMPLETELY wrong ... I give them a call, they promise they will recontact me to deal with that and send me coupons. Obviously I've never heard again from them. At this point I just let go because I've lost enough...
Read moreTerrible service! If you're looking for a slightly more upscale fast food Burger this isn't the place. Had to send my burger back twice. After 2 tries, it was still wrong! Just a burger with bacon, lettuce, tomato, A1 and grilled onions. The two out of five employees that speak broken English here made no attempt to apologize for the either screw up. Ownership of this store should be embarrassed at providing such substandard service. The McDonald's across the street has yet to screw my order up for less money. I would pay three times as much for food made correctly the first time ( or even the second time). On top of the incorrectly made Burger, the french fries were soggy and oily. Clearly, they don't take pride in what they do here. I received a full refund at my request and left without getting my replacement food. I've been to a dozen 5 guys, this one is...
