I have mixed feelings about this Starbucks. Depending on who is at the cashier, it can either be a super super quick trip (definite plus in the morning on the way to work) or quite the opposite - SLOOOOOOOOWWWW like a freakin snail.
I came in at 5:45am on a Monday morning and was out the door in less than 5 minutes. As I walked up to the register, the barista asked to make my drink. While she was making it, the cashier rang me up. Both are superstars!
The very next day, I came in at 5:50am and there was a line of 2 people ahead of me. A different cashier was working the register and OMG she was so slow. I don't know how it can take so long to ring up a coffee order but seriously I was in line for 10 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. As I waited, the line behind me grew to 5 other people. Everyone looked just as aggitated as me. I mean seriously, we're in here at 6am for a reason, we need our coffee and we have places to get to! As a result, I was late to work and was super annoyed as I stood there waiting and watching in disblief.

Read moreI rarely give out bad reviews and reviews in general but, today I had an absolutely horrible experience at this particular location. I always had off and on experiences at this location. When I was ordering today the Bautista was extremely rude and I know this time is stressful for everyone during Covid but no matter how much I tried to be understanding she was just awful. She kept yelling at me to speak louder so she could hear me and I kept trying to rise my voice and I ended up having to shout to give my order. The person in front of me did not get yelled at or the person behind me. They both were speaking at the same level as I was but, I was only one who got yelled at and I felt very belittled. She didn't say "Excuse me, but can you speak a little louder I can't hear you very clearly." I basically was getting yelled at for being soft spoken. I honestly am not going back to this location. I've never had a problem with the location in downtown mountain view. I'll just stick with the location in downtown where I know the customer service is constantly good. I would not recommend this...
Read moreI went in to this Starbucks this morning and, as usual, I came to get my thermos filled with Pike Place coffee, for which I am always charged $3.25. I also had my heart set on having a breakfast sandwich. They figure you're not using the cups, so to fill a thermos is less expensive ... EXCEPT THIS MORNING! The young lady barista wanted to charge me an outrageous $6.75, and she wasn't in a very good mood. I am a 70 year old man, and I am under the impression she has issues with elderly folks. The manner in which she spoke down to me was unconscionable. I left without my coffee, AND ALSO WITHOUT MY BREAKFAST SANDWICH, which was very inconvenient, and started my day out on the wrong foot. This will definitely make me less likely to continue buying food and coffee at Starbucks again. I used to be pleased with the friendliness of the baristas.
