We went on a Saturday afternoon and decided to try the clam chowder. I had never had it before and we like the country fried steak special on Thursdays a lot, so l thought their clam chowder would be quite good. I had expected it to be like a nice white color and medium thickness kinda like the way lvars clam chowder is. We both ordered a bowl because we were both quite hungry. But when it arrived l was very dissapointed even before l tasted it. It looked like no clam chowder that l had ever seen, my first impression was that it looked like prison slop and it had an extremely thick texture like oatmeal, it was very unappetizing looking. And it was a kinda tannish color, not white. I knew that this was probably not going to taste good either. I took one spoonful and told the waitress that l can't eat this , it not only looked awful but tasted the same way. We both disliked it and will never order it again. I didn't think it was possible to screw up clam chowder that much but l was proved wrong. If l were a cook in a place like this l would be embarrassed to serve chowder like this , it...

Went because it is the closest local sports bar, and Bartender (Patrick) was very friendly on the initial visit.

Following week. Watched 5 min of the Saints game before it was changed to the Eagles because the 1 Eagle fan was less polite about insisting it be on (despite it Saints being on first). Decided to leave instead of arguing with stupidity. Went to World Sport Grill to watch the game.

Tried the place again today... I didn't want to rule it out as a good bar because it was so close to my residence... Plus great mimosas and service, Sadly...

They switched the Texans game off in order to watch NASCAR... I inquired why, and the response was that there was a NASCAR league. After physically walking around the bar and finding nobody watching NASCAR on the 3-linked screens, I asked if they could please change it to the game. This request was denied.

I had never been to ringers until tonight. I ordered a late night meal to go simply because they had what I wanted and were open. When I got there I dug around in my wallet to realize my debit card was missing. I had just had the WORST day and honestly was hanging by a thread. The host looked mildly irritated at first, and rightfully so. But when I apologized and turned to leave she said "I'm going to buy it for you". My guess is she offered out of pure kindness figuring she'd just be out the money. I thanked her more than once and asked when she works next and told her I'd be back to reimburse her-and I absolutely will, shoot I'm going to pay double! My point is... I really needed some kindness today and a reminder of the good that is still very much present in today's world. Kudos to whoever hired this gem.
