Awesome bakery with lots of unique and delicious items! They aren’t just a bakery with sweet treats, but also serve boba, dumplings, and some sort of shaved ice I believe. It’s an awesome place. I tried the egg tarts, cream puffs, and crispy pineapple buns.

The egg tarts were quite tasty. Not too strong of a flavor and relatively light, for an egg tart. They are small and perfect for a quick dessert. Nothing too crazy, but simple and tasty.

The pineapple bun unfortunately didn’t have any real pieces of pineapple on it. But, it was still very good. The dough itself is very soft, fluffy, and airy. It is not heavy by any means. The top is crispy and sugary, but the bun itself doesn’t have a ton of flavor. There’s something in the middle but it’s not too discernible. Still, quite tasty.

Finally, the cream puff. This was huge and delicious! It was filled with tons of cream, which was surprisingly not too sweet, and more buttery, almost. The dough is also tasty, similar to that of the bun. I’d highly recommend this.

All in all, this is an amazing bakery in Mt. Lebo, and one of the few Asian bakeries near the city. Great menu, solid prices, lots of variety....

Amy’s Bakery is a unique place in the Pittsburgh area in regards to the Asian-style pastries/beverages they serve. It is located on a busy street with little street parking, so be prepared to enter a garage or feed the meter if you’re visiting during daytime hours.

I can only comment on the Chocolate Crepe cake that I purchased on a recommendation from a colleague. This and a Matcha Crepe cake seem to be one of their specialties.

Unfortunately I wasn’t very impressed by the Chocolate Crepe cake. The cake is composed of multiple Crepe layers, filled with a chocolate mousse, and dusted with cocoa powder on top. The cake was almost slimy and had an eggy/chocolatey taste. It honestly felt like I was just eating a bowl of regular chocolate mousse. The slice is fairly pricey too at $8.00.

The lady at the register was a bit short with me and continued to talk on her phone as she took my order and I paid. She never stopped to say thank you or even look up at me as she handed me my bagged cake.

The shop is very clean and bright on the inside.

I don’t think I’ll be...

I feel so grateful that Amy made my birthday Mille crepe cake with such a tasty durian filling. It took us three hours to drive to their bakery but they never let me down. we have tried three different flavors of the cake and other type of desserts as well. All of them are tasty and I love how they add the sugar that is not too strong but just with the exact amount you want. You can really trust their skill that their desserts are definitely delicious. If there is something you might want to pay attention before visiting, I would say it is a little bit hard to find a parking space in front of their bakery. For your information, we parked in a library nearby that have the public parking garage, and the rate is not very expensive especially if you went there on Saturday: it only cost one dollar for parking a whole day. What’s more, the bakery also offer a delivery option that might save your time, but it is the area within an hour of driving range (if I recall correctly ) For that, you can ask the front desk for more precise...
