Not one to give negative reviews unless warranted.
I was a regular, started to notice food handling practices and then really started to pay attention to detail.
I saw food and such being handled without gloves. The food prep area was unsatisfactory. The "home-made" items in the display case are not fresh. Not sure they are homemade to begin with.
I opted to stand by the microwave and noticed that it looked as if it had never been cleaned. This is quite disappointing given the fact the microwave is how they prepare all of their "hot" meals.
I saw a bug on the counter between the beverage station and coffee makers for at least a week. Water on the floor because the workers forgot to turn off a machine at night.
They run out of cups and change on a regular basis.
I am hoping the owner takes heed and does the "deep cleaning" as she has stated in the past.
Clean means top to bottom, countertops, floors, microwave, food prep area, etc. Have everyone wear gloves and please promise to never again touch a consumers food with your bare hands.

Needless to say I am never going back there. I went to Starbucks and would you believe it, they took my order!!! I went at 9:05...
Read moreI have been here several times. The atmosphere is always cheerful, the food freshly made, and the drinks refreshing. This is a small independent coffee shop, which means that they are not built for mass production, so don't expect a Starbucks assembly line. They take the time to insure you have a pleasant experience, and a great cup of coffee, ice tea, or whatever.
Today they had a acoustic guitar player, playing softly in a corner up front. What a nice treat. Everybody seemed to be enjoying the entertainment (which wasn't too loud), or the company of their companions. Lots of chatter going on between the tables, so you know that there are plenty of loyal patrons that have gotten to know each other.
Keep up...
