I did not have the best experience here. My drink was not correct. I waited for a while at the window for my second drink as the cashier was doodling. . . Had to wave thru the window to a passing employee for the cashier to realize my drink was sitting there melting Essentially. When I paid, I was using my app and asked to reload 20$ before my purchase, so I could use the 20$ I had loaded as payment for my order... Yet my card was charged for a 20$ reload, and the total amount of my order. As I am a past resturant Manger from a similar chain, once I noticed she did not ask to scan my app again I knew something was off. I check my bank app and, sure enough. I was double charged. Had it handled right there on the spot even though once it was brought to the cashiers attention, she tried to simply re correct me and tell me that she had done the transaction correct and that I paid for my order and had 20$ on my card. Though that is not what I asked her to do. Why would I want to load my app and then yet still pay with my card... makes no sense at all since I would not be rewarded points for that transaction if I were to use my card... simply just stating... Lesson learned, & it's hard to find good help these...
Read moreI never write reviews, but my experience here was so amazing I just had to write about it. It was super busy and hectic, one of the baristaâs (I caught her name tag- Emmy was her name) was absolutely amazing. My family likes a bunch of different Starbucks drinks and sandwiches and one even has a lactose and gluten intolerance so my order wasnât exactly easy. But she made it so quickly and actually engaged in conversation with me (asked me how my day was going, what my plans were for the weekend, etc). I could tell they were understaffed and I kept apologizing because Iâm sure my long and difficult order was the last thing they wanted to do (I work in customer service, I know the struggle!) but she kept reassuring me that it was perfectly fine and that she was happy to do it. Made me feel so much better! Also, without me even asking her to, she kept the gluten free and lactose free items separate from the others, telling me that she wanted to make sure there was no confusion, and then marked them with a smiley face SO CUTE!! Iâve never experienced anything like this at any other Starbucks, so I...
Read moreMy drink was pretty good but even though I ordered extra ice, the liquid was warm so it melted fast. My biggest suggestion to this location would be , when your customer gets to the window of the drive-through, and you have no one else in line and youâre doing nothing, donât consider this your free break time. Maybe take the time to clean the hand prints and fingerprints off the window or arrange some of the cups outside the window or maybe just have a conversation with your customer. Whatever you do, donât just stand with your back and your butt to the window the entire time waiting for someone else to make the drink and hand it to you so that you can turn around and just give it to the customer. All that says to me as the customer is, âI donât want to be here and you shouldnât want to come here.â
If you want to know what Iâm talking about visit Volo or McHenry locations. Their customers are made to feel that they matter.
If you watch the video in the summer game this week, this store is just the opposite...
