Campus Subs Lunchroom — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

I went here for the first and last time at 1:30pm on a Thursday. The place was devoid of customers and the lady at the counter said they were out of plate lunches and to cook anything would take 20 minutes.

She wasn’t exactly rude, but I could tell she didn’t want to serve me though her tone of voice and mannerism. She also made sure to point out they only take cash; I assume she was hoping I didn’t have any and would go away.

I left without ordering anything. I like to support local businesses, but this place didn’t seem to want my money. I’m just not sure why they didn’t close for the day if they couldn’t be bothered to help people. I’m not sure why a place like this stays in business. I have driven by this place a few times today I decided to check the place out. My daughter and I walked in and immediately felt at ease. I would recommend this spot to anyone. Food was delicious and the friendly greeting was more than customer service. And for the price of the food I felt more than happy to leave a tip. Great Food, Great Price, and Great People.
