Love's Pizza — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

I support local businesses as often as possible, and I’m thankful this place exists. However, this meal was a dreadful letdown.

I got fried ravioli bites and a calzone.

The fried ravioli bites were just ok and a bit overcooked but not terrible.

The calzone, though, was by far the worst calzone I’ve ever tasted. First, a good calzone has a nice crispy somewhat thin layer of crust with good flavor. The crust on this thing was thick, doughy and severely undercooked. There’s faaaar too much bread on the thing. My fears of the uncooked and thick crust were made worse when I bit into it

The toppings inside the calzone were rubbery and so very undercooked the cheese didn’t even fully melt. You can see in the attached that a lot of the cheese is still in shreds or clusters of uncooked cheese. The entire thing was gross, unfortunately. I made it a few bites into it and felt sick from all the uncooked ingredients. I tossed all of it and took the trash bag out of the house immediately.

After reading all the glowing reviews I had very high expectations. I’m quite disappointed in this food experience. I’ve had bad calzones before but I’ve never encountered such a soggy mound of dough and uncooked food.

Edit: they reached out to me immediately and offered to replace the order and stated they actually offer the thin crust calzone as an option. I didn’t see that option online but I’ll definitely give them another try and update the...

If you're looking for satisfying food fresh and quite possibly the best then look no further,, You will not be disappointed. I ordered a Philly cheese Calzone and a Supreme Calzone. I didn't think I was in the mood for there food when I found out the place next door was closed on Tuesday. I can not believe how hard it was to save some for my wife seeing I didn't bring a lunch to work the day I found my new favorite hot spot to eat. Though they didn't speak Italian, They cooked better than any I ever knew. They're variety And selection Will blow your mind. Look I'm not gonna write a book. But I know where I will be taking my people to eat,, And I can't wait to see the joy of good food smiles on there faces ☺️ This place is a must check out . I don't make a ton of reviews but these guys absolutely have my respect. I can't wait to get back there,, I will stand be hind this post and hope they don't ever change. I'm glad Love's pizza decided to share there love for food with the rest of us in this world 🌎 Check it out, I can't thank them enough,,ill definitely be coming back for more. You like good food...

My sister-in-law made a custom pizza with Pepperoni and Green Peppers.

The pizza was incredible! The crust was top tier!!!

Although I loved the crust, everything about the pizza was memorable⭐️

The cheeses, pepperoni, and freshly sliced green peppers were very satisfying.

I will definitely return in the future!

The Tortellini Aurora is extremely tasty!!! However, I would add an extremely important caveat---it is NOT vegetarian. The online menu description identifies it as cheese tortellini when in fact it is MEAT tortellini. I have ordered it more than once. Its consistency is almost like a baked ziti but with tortellini instead. For non-vegetarians I would happily recommend it!
