Q&R Cafe — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

I had to stop at Kroger’s (Northfield & Broad) and noticed a Café on the Broad St end of the plaza and decided to visit them after I shopped. Q&R Café is a bright little café with sweets (macaroons), cakes, sandwich and breakfast options, and beverages. This place is owned by Ben and Queenna (husband and wife team) and I spent over 30 minutes learning about their business and concept. I decided to try a #3 Peach Ade where they take a Peach puree, add freshly carbonated soda, and seal it into much like a regular soda can with a pull top. When you are ready to drink, just shake and enjoy but I HIGHLY recommend a straw, the ice can block the drinking hole after consuming about 1/3 of the beverage. The container they put the beverage in is solid and my drink stayed cold and carbonated for well over an hour. Also got to watch them make a smoothie and a couple of other drinks…the equipment they have there is really cool.

The Peach Ade I enjoyed was very refreshing, not overly sweet, great peach flavors, mild carbonation, and no “aftertaste”. Just a wonderfully refreshing drink and I can’t wait to try the many other options. I loved the fact they do not add sugar or sweeteners to their drinks…IMHO the sweetness is perfect. My time spent with Ben and Queenna was educational and fun…they are such a pleasure to talk to and really want to do well in...

This is the second time I have been back and will make this my go to spot for bubble tea! The first time I got a stawberry milk tea with almond milk and this time I got the mango premium tea. I cannot put into words how amazing both drinks were! The owners here are so welcoming and kind! They make sure that you get exactly what you want and they are so kind that you just feel right at home there and it really just adds to the welcoming atmosphere. I can't stress it enough how great this place is!...

Me and my sister came in after our shift at our shoe repair shop in Smyrna. And were met with such wonderful customer service in this very clean cute Cafe. The cashier helped with our choices as they have so many to chose from, and was sweet when I changed my add on preferences. He made our order so quick! Their system is so efficient and interesting to watch. Also the cheese foam is a knockout if you like sweet and savory.
