Taste of China — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

The worst Chinese food I have ever ever had in my life. Trust me when I say it, I’ve lived in Hong Kong for 17 years… I would know what Chinese food tastes like. And I do take into consideration that it may be prepared more to local taste but this was absolutely disappointing and quite honestly disgusting. I usually order Singapore noodles and hot and sour soup, that’s my way of tasting if it’s a good joint and my hubby ordered Bourbon chicken which is their specialty and pork spring rolls. So my Singapore noodles had no curry taste what so ever, it was bitter, no salt, nothing that would remind me of Singapore style noodles. Hot and sour soup, was runny, and light color, there was no taste what so ever, it was almost like they had leftovers and they mixed it with water. My husbands chicken was wind or freeze dried, you know when you have meat already being dried even before cooking, it was absolutely awful!!!!!!!! Please do not spend your money, find another joint. Very busy when I entered with my friend. Mostly takeout orders rather than dine in. Food was hot, fresh, and good quality. I liked that you could see the people cooking and preparing your food. Service was fast and easy. Great portion sizes! Price was more than fair and almost a steal for the amount of food. Flavorful, not greasy, and great deals on plates.
