The phone number is incorrect as of 03/26/2024. MORE BELOW (I submitted this for review).
Big issues and concerns: Ordered through the app, and the app submitted my order to the wrong restaurant miles away, which happened to be this one. The app informed me to contact the restaurant for a refund decision, and the line was disconnected.
The app doesn't offer a feature to cancel the order or even a help feature to contact for assistance. I was on my way home from work after a really long day, sat in the mcdonalds parking lot when I ordered online for me to pick up inside, just to be sent on a 40-minute regrettable detour that ended up making the food cold by the time I got home. The biggest issue is that when I place my order, McDonald's holds my funds even though no cooking immediately occurs. On top of that, I researched more and learned that McDonald's places the issue on the managers and workers of the franchise when, in reality, they don't have any method of offering a refund. The workers don't get notified of the order until you're nearby, so if I were to call and inform them of all of this, they wouldn't even have an order to cancel since I'm not nearby the restaurant.
Per mcdonalds.com, "Contact the restaurant where you purchased your mobile order for assistance on a refund."
Can't contact the restaurant due to a disconnected line
The website gives the false indication that a refund is possible
In summary, go to the restaurant or they take your funds without providing any services, food, or any form of assistance as guided by mcdonalds.com
I tried to submit this to BBB.org, but there wasn't a justifiable tab for me to click to submit this as an issue.
I apologize to the managers and the great employees who assisted me with my food. This isn't your problem, and the blame isn't placed on y'all. This is an issue for the franchisee not updating the phone number and McDonald's Corporation for making immoral decisions with their mobile app.
Also, when walking out, an employee walked into the restaurant while I held the door open for them, and they said nothing to me. I don't have any disdain to that person, I just understand the feeling of walking into a work environment where issues like mine occur and they have to take these complaints when in reality they did absolutely nothing wrong and have no involvement on what I went through aside from taking care of my food and following order notes precisely. I have respect that people like them work in conditions like this and gave me a pleasant experience in the small interactions I had with them.
1 star reviews are usually based on emotion, so to counter a thought of the review being a "spur of the moment," I left this review at midnight over 6 hours AFTER I placed my order. It impacted my day enough to leave this review, so please have some morals and fix the issue.
Do I think this review will be read? No, but issues like this need to be mentioned. Otherwise, it'll always...
Read more9/22/18...I went and ordered breakfast, one of my items was a sausage egg and cheese biscuit...it was rang up correctly, however the biscuit did not have egg on it. I went back through the drive thru and told the employee at the window...he then asked for the receipt and biscuit...he took the food back in through the drive thru, he then brought it back to me. When the employee brought it back to me he apologized to me...I asked him if it was made fresh because I did not want the same food that was made because I feel like it’s unsanitary...he said it was made fresh and it appeared like it was...I got home to eat and it was then that I realized that they had scrapped the cheese off and added egg and new cheese re-wrapped it in a new wrapper. I dont know about you but I feel like this is very unprofessional and unsanitary! They should have made it over again fresh since it was their mistake. I called the manager and she said she was in the office and not on the line and that’s probably why this happened. First of all, you shouldnt hire people that you can not trust to do their job correctly when left alone. She told me that she would re-make my food...I declined her offer because I did not feel ok with eating food from there since I had complained...I had a crappy experience and I will not be eating at this facility again, nor will my friends and family! Their is always something at this Mcdonald’s....never any fresh fries, the ice cream machine is always broken, you can not order sausage biscuits and gravy on the “all-day” breakfast menu (you can barely order it at all once the first batch is gone they dont want to re-make it so its always out), never any tea made...its just always something! In my opinion, I think corporate should take a look at how this facility is ran and reevaluate it. I am a manager myself in retail and this place could make alot more money if it was ran correctly, but thats just my opinion. I will not be visiting this facility in the future and I recommend that you nor your family/...
Read moreAt this location, they rarely get orders correct. I went through the drive thru once to get a big mac for my nephew, who had just gotten off of a 12 hour shift. He had to go back to sleep immediately for the next shift, so I figured it would be a quick easy dinner. Initially, I waited 30 minutes in line. I was a bit irritated but I let it go considering how busy it can get. I'm an understanding person. But when I got home they'd left out the sandwich! So, I patiently returned thru the line and skipped to the window, where I was told to wait in a spot, where I sat an additional 15 minutes. Livid, I quietly accepted the bag, made sure the combo was inside, and left without a fuss to avoid conflict. When I got home and gave it to my nephew, he opened his bun to find NO MEAT! How do you just sell bread!? I called and a manager took my name, so she could "write it down for a free combo." When I returned three weeks later for my replacement, they didn't want to give it to me without me going inside with my three kids, who were sleeping in the car. When I asked to speak to the manager I heard giggles and whispering. Finally, I got the manager I'd spoken to before and she gave me sass and acted like I just wanted free food. I asked "didn't you put my name in a book," which is what I'd been told, and she insisted that no she had not. She gave me the food reluctantly and insisted that it wasnt her that is spoken to previously, even though I'm certain she was who I'd talked to and I remembered her name, face, and voice clearly. I don't want to directly reveal names, because I don't want to make trouble for any individual, but seriously - this place is a management wreck and these associates are rude! Drive down to the Church location, it'll probably...
