Update 2: five years later and you’re still rude and unprofessional - I can only imagine the things you don’t say. Take your own advice and be patient and NICER to people paying your bills! The audacity of your mouth. I see others have encountered similar experiences, but keep pretending we’re the problem🫠 grow up!
UPDATE: See owner reply lol. That says it all! My rating especially applies now! A professional would have apologized and asked for a chance to make it right. You got defensive and now accuse me of lying? Cause you're "sure" that wasn't my experience? It's no wonder the service was bad, look at the leader! Be nicer? Cause how dare I walk into a building and wait for service like a patron? You sound ridiculous and the fact that you're suggesting I did something to warrant your lack of service just wow...tell us more! It's funny cause I actually had the food recently and loved it (and was going to change my review but I come see this garbage reply) but seeing your rude response I guarantee we'll never go back nor recommend you. ✌🏾 Thank you for demonstrating exactly the unprofessionalism my review was about though! Maybe try not judging someone's behavior by Google profile pics cause I'd never spoken to anyone per my review yet you alleged I was not a nice person. 'Merica 🙄 Original: Would have been nice to try the food as I've heard good things! However my husband and I walked in to dine and at least 3 staff members looked right at us yet did not acknowledge us or offer any service. I find that rude and unprofessional as I most definitely speak to all my patrons! Even if it's just to say, "I'll be with you in a moment." We left and went to Sabaidee. It...
Read moreSo many people here have told me you can’t find good Asian food in Murfreesboro. Since moving here from the Tampa/Clearwater Florida Area, I’ve been afraid to try anything except for in Nashville. The cost for “good Asian” to feed a family of 5 with 3 teens is easily $150. So for it to be awful, is just not a risk I wanted to take. A friend recommended Pad Thai and I’m so glad they did. If you have ever been to Liang’s Bistro in Tampa, a 5 star Asian restaurant, this is as close to that as you’ll get in Middle TN. The Pho was excellent and even being takeout, was still hot. The Phanaeng Chicken was as good as any Thai restaurant in Oahu. The Thai chicken fried rice was great, fresh and not overly fried. The spring rolls were crispy, and not greasy. Overall it was a great amount of food for the cost, we will actually have leftovers. I definitely recommend. Now: The reasons I gave 4 stars and not 5: 1… we wanted to dine in, but the place is too small for a family and not at all wheelchair friendly nor service dog friendly. So we had to do take out. Which has the option for delivery at a $5.99 charge in addition the 5% charge you get for the takeout containers. And the order online option doesn’t include the full menu. Also, nowhere online does it list the correct prices, full menu, bubble tea options etc… the sweet & sour chicken was tossed in the S&S sauce. Which for done-in I guess that’s ok, but for take out it makes a soggy mess of the meal. The lo mein was over cooked and had too much sauce making it really sticky and sweet. The crab rangoons were burnt. So all in all they did great on the Thai dishes, but the Chinese was just ok. If you stick to the Thai...
Read moreVisited Pad Thai Café for a late lunch today, a small place in a strip plaza. Sadly, I’ve driven by it so many times and never noticed the place. Ordered a BeerLao (really good Laotian lager), a small Tom-yum Chicken soup, and the specialty of the house…Thai Dynamite at Level 1 spice.
The soup and the meal came out together…so I dug into both at the same time. I’m not easily impressed, but when the soup was cool enough to eat I was blown away. The broth is “comfort in a bowl” with fragrant herbs, spices, diced vegetables still holding their bite, and tender chunks of chicken. This bowl of delight ranks as one of the best I’ve had in a very long time.
The Thai Dynamite was just that…explosive. I ordered the combination version with chicken, beef, and shrimp. I am glad I went with Level 1, it allowed me to experience a little heat but still enjoy all of the incredible flavors in this dish. The meats have a special flavor and texture I assume comes from the frying part of the process…it really adds to the dish. Your palate will experience so many sensations and textures, from the fried rice to the lightly cooked vegetables…all bathed in a wonderfully sweet, sour, and spicy basil sauce. I must admit…this dish really impressed me. I cannot remember a time when a dish had so many combinations of flavors and textures.
Exceptional food and solid service…looking forward to trying some of the noodle items. They also have a small grocery next door with a variety of Asian food and vegetables…well worth a visit to stock your...
