It honestly breaks my heart a little to leave this review because for many months, this was my favorite coffee shop to visit. I don't know if its staff changes or what but a few months ago, they started getting my orders wrong which has been frustrating. My last visit however was the tipping point for me.

I came in October 20 around 11:42am and gave the cashier my order. It was a simple order (I wanted one thing removed from a crepe, and one thing added). My order was brought to me incorrectly twice before I went to the staff with receipt in hand and said i just wanted a refund because I had been tired of waiting on my food to be correct and had somewhere to be. One of the girls told me she couldnt give me a refund because the manager was not there which seemed silly. The other girl listening in asked what was wrong and I told her. She then began making excuses for the cook who apparently was new and didn't speak english very well. I politely asked her how was that my problem? I then told her how does it make sense to have someone who's job is to read orders (when the language is in english) and cook what is on the order and this person does not know how to read the language well. I asked if she didnt speak english well there should be someone there to help her so that she understands the orders requested. The girl then tries to blame me and accuses me of shaming the cook because she didnt speak english well. I never once raised my voice, used profanity and i most certainly did not suggest the cook did not need to be employed there. I simply asked for my refund which she was miraculously able to give me without the manager there (which furthermore proves the other girl either had no clue what she was talking about or simply did not want to give me a refund).

Really displeased how this experience went after I come there every Sunday morning around the same time and order the same exact thing every single time. I will no longer visit this shop due to the uncouth nature of the two girls who worked there that day and the incompetence of everyone else who got my orders incorrect previously. This place has become inconsistent and I don't care to spend my money...

What a pleasant experience! A friend and I went to a nearby breakfast restaurant on Sunday morning and found that it was not opened on Sundays. Red Bicycle was nearby, so we decided to give it a try. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly and the breakfast was perfect. I had sausage, egg & cheese on a bagel and was very pleased with it (they have excellent NY bagels - I am a New Yorker). Additionally, I have not found many restaurants with very good coffee, but the coffee here was excellent. I only hope that, after my review, there won't be a long wait the next time I come...

Stopped by for some lunch today and left feeling pretty satisfied! Ordered the avocado toast and the smoked salmon toast. Out of those two, the latter was my favorite, though I wished the bread was a tad bit more toasted. The avocado toast was okay. Truthfully, it tasted a bit bland and the pickled onions were what made it really good. The meat lovers breakfast burrito was the star of our meal. The tortilla was slightly crispy and the eggs inside were somehow very juicy! Loved the hashbrowns inside. Definitely coming back for this along with a good book. The atmosphere...
