Welcome to Terri's! For those of us in the world who are looking for a 12 course meal and someone to bend over backward for you, DO NOT bother stopping.

For the rest of us, come on in! You're stepping foot into an establishment in a town of less than 2000 in population. If it's a small town diner you're after, you've come to the right place. Its family owned and run, so don't flinch if the younger ones are helping out the day you stop by. Show a little grace. It goes further.

The regulars all know each other, and everyone cuts up in a friendly way. The coffee was always hot, and so was the food. More parking exists in the back if you're worried about your doors/dents. Also, the diner is right off the town square, so get there early if you're looking to park at the front door (that's how it is in a small town).

The last day we dropped in, we got to meet the owner. Terri was running orders, slinging drinks, and answering phones. Oh, and they're a military family too...so stop on in and experience a little small town hospitality and good food. If you get a chance, get to know them (4 visits in three days, all meal times). And if you don't like something, just ask. Nicely,

From Murfreesboro, TN....

First and foremost, do NOT eat here. First there were so many flies flying all over you, your food, your table. Just nasty. They brought us our water, we told her to give us another minute. 20 minutes later, she finally came to get our order. Hubby & I decided what we wanted. He wanted catfish, well they were out. He ordered CFC & we asked the waitress what chicken would it be. We discussed chicken breast & a wing. They brought him 2 chicken strips covered in white gravy. The corn & okra was nasty. His baked potato was dry & nasty. I ordered Country Fried Steak with mashed potatoes. The Country Fried Steak was nasty. Mashed potatoes were dry. I asked for a steak knife to cut my meal & she brought me a butter knife. Umm ok. Now remember these flies are trying to eat our meal while we are trying to eat it. We waited for our toast that was with our meal & never got it. So we told the cashier that we never got out toast. She took .99 cents off. Also our waitress never came back to check on us, fill our water, nothing. If you have any thing else you want to know about eating here, just read back to my first 7 words. Do not waste your time, you will regret it. If I could give less than 1...

My family and I were there for the crater of diamonds state park. Decided to give this place a try as there wasn't many options for food. Restaurant had way too many flies and tables werent really wiped clean. There were about 6 groups and the staff could barely handle the flow of the customers. We had to seat ourselves. Ordering took a while and food arrival took some time as well. My party of 6 all got their food except for me. We were all starving. When I got the rueben sandwhich I ate about 1/3 of my sandwhich before I noticed the mold on the bread. Not on one but both pieces. I tried my best not to think of the worst. I quietly told the waitress. She said she wanted to show her staff. She came back and told me she wouldn't charge me. Wow! No offer to replace my food just simply that she would take the charge off for me as if she was doing me a favor. Im thonking how i bately ate and was still hungry and wasnt even offered a different meal. We paid and left. We will be back for the adventure but will not be going back...

Disgusting. Should have left when it took forever to be acknowledged. They were not busy in the least. The guy who ended up being our server was just staring at us for over a minute before he even came to our table. Zero personality. None. Just monotone. Had to repeat our orders as we ordered because he just wasn't paying attention. I'd say mashed potatoes and he'd say fries. Ridiculous. Hubs ordered a cup of broccoli cheddar soup to start. He brought a bowl. It was so thick and looked curdled, it barely came off the spoon. Tasted terrible. Then there were the flies. Not just one or two, but 12 flies at one time on the soup bowl. Couldn't even eat it. I had a side salad with my meal. Iceberg lettuce. A wedge of tomato. That was it. The basil vinaigrette was good. Waited. Waited. Waited. More flies. Finally we had enough. Went to pay for my salad and leave. He charged us for a full salad, not a side salad. Just paid so we could leave and go somewhere else.
