I saw the TikTok about this place and decided to give it a try. I was honestly expecting a typical crepe and ice cream place with more bells and whistles such the the chocolate fountain but I was pleasantly surprised to find it anything but typical.
The best way I can describe it is exotic. Upon entrance, it does look like a fancy ice cream place nothing out of the ordinary. It is the flavors that transport you to a place of adventure. Some of thhe ice cream flavors are not your typical one. They had, rose, lavender, and a honey s'mores that was not what I expected from the name. The pistachio one was nutty and creamy but it was the vanilla the one that knocked it out of the park for me.
The attendant, Ali was the best host for our first time visit. He took time to let us taste every flavor, give us information about the different items sold and how they are prepared. He told us that they make the vanilla ice cream with vanilla brought directly from India. I'll be honest and say vanilla isn't my most favorite flavor but when I tried this one it was decadent. It had a real vanilla flavor. Not the fake stuff we think vanilla is. Think of the smell of a vanilla candle but in flavor form. It was sublime. Anything but 'plain vanilla'.
After agonizing over what pastry to try, (they all looked amazing!) I decided on the Ferrero Rocher Bomb. It was crunchy on the outside and filled with creamy goodness. It has a real tiny hazelnut inside that gives it the perfect touch.
Perhaps the only thing that was a bit disappointing was the size of the cheesecake slices. We wanted to try one but they really are a bit thin to guarantee the cost, though I imagine the flavor must make up for it. We decided to try those on our next visit.
Ali truly gave us the best customer service I've experienced in years. He was attentive, informative and kind. The place is spotless, very well maintained and they even provide free water.
All in all this is a place that's worth visiting, just come prepared to have your mind changed about what I've cream should taste like. I'm afraid that now that I've tried it, I can never go back to plain...
Read moreI have visited this place twice now and it is a fantastic experience both times. They have a wonderful loose leaf tea selection, which has a nice variety for all sorts of tastes. Their desserts pair well with it. The first time I visited I got tropical bliss and the olive oil citrus cake. Which paired very well together especially with the gentle flavor of the olive oil citrus cake. The tropical bliss tea was excellently sweet with lovely hints of tropical fruit. My friend got the ferror rocher bomb and the rosy dark tea. The rosy dark tea has a stronger presence than the tropical bliss, but paired well with how strong and rich the ferror rocher bomb was. The ferror rocher bomb had a great combination of the hardened dark chocolate shell and the more milk chocolate/semisweet chocolate ganache mixed with meringue to create a nice fluffy interior. It is by all means chocolate heaven.
The second visit we just went with a pot of tropical bliss and tried a few new foods. I got the lava cake with the honey badger ice cream, mozzarella sticks, and the avocado burrata toast. My friend got the pink hummus toast, and brownie sizzler with honey badger ice cream. We also tried their lavender ice cream which had a great presence of lavender to allow it to really shine. The honey badger has a great mix of chocolate and vanilla which we thought would work great with the chocolate from the lava cake and brownie. The avocado burrata toast was fabulous the mixture of avocado was smooth and delicious with hints of sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper. The burrata was well done and creamy with a good kick of the chili on it. The pink hummus toast has smooth and creamy hummus with a good crunch from the cucumbers balancing well with the feta cheese. The lava cake was well balanced and worked well with the honey badger ice cream. It was light and fluffy without being too sweet. The brownie was denser and more of a cake like...
