A hidden gem in Plano, Texas, that serves authentic Indian cuisine. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting ambiance. The décor was elegant, with traditional Indian motifs and vibrant colors that transported me to the streets of India.
The atmosphere was lively and cozy, with friendly staff who made sure I felt at home. The restaurant was bustling with activity, but the staff managed to maintain a smooth and efficient service.
But the real star of the show was the food! I ordered the Chicken Fried Noodles, and oh boy, it was love at first bite! The noodles were cooked to perfection, with tender chicken and a medley of vegetables that added texture and flavor. The dish was seasoned with a blend of spices that was both aromatic and tantalizing. It was truly "too awesome" as I had expected!
What impressed me even more was that the restaurant serves Zabiha Halal meat, which is a testament to their commitment to catering to the diverse needs of their customers. As someone who values halal food, I felt assured that I was in good hands.
Overall, my experience at Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of delicious food, warm ambiance, and attentive service made for a truly unforgettable dining experience. Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at One Stop India, and I must say, it was an unforgettable culinary experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive service, setting the tone for a fantastic meal.
The standout dish for me was undoubtedly the Paneer Butter Masala - it was cooked to perfection, with the paneer being incredibly tender and the sauce rich and creamy. The flavors were vibrant and well-balanced, with just the right amount of spices. Paired with the fluffy, buttery naan, it was a match made in heaven!
The Dal Tadka was another highlight, with its beautiful blend of lentils and spices. The addition of butter took it to a whole new level, adding a richness and depth to the dish. I was impressed by the generous serving size, too!
But what truly elevated my dining experience was the attention to detail and commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the crunchy, flavorful samosas to the crispy, spicy mirchi bhajji, every bite was a testament to the kitchen's dedication to excellence.
And let's not forget the Irani chai, which was the perfect accompaniment to my meal. Strong, bold, and full of flavor, it was the ideal way to round off my dining experience.
One Stop India's commitment to authenticity and quality shines through in every aspect of their service, from the warm hospitality to the carefully crafted menu. Whether you're a foodie, a spice enthusiast, or just looking for a delicious meal, this hidden gem is an absolute must-visit.

Read moreMy Disappointing Experience at One Stop India
I recently visited One Stop India for the first time, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. Here’s why: Dosa Disaster I ordered a dosa expecting it to be crispy and flavorful. Instead, it felt more like a paratha with stuffing—so unappealing that I ended up throwing it away.
Cold Sambar & Self-Service Confusion To make matters worse, the sambar was cold. Although the restaurant has a self-service sign, I had to pick up my dosa from the counter and then collect the chutney and sambar separately from a small station. They weren’t provided alongside the dish, which made the whole experience inconvenient and disappointing.
Sluggish Service The service was extremely slow. Even though it wasn’t crowded, I had to wait far longer than expected for my food.
Overpriced Menu Their prices are considerably higher compared to other similar restaurants in Dallas. For the quality and service provided, it doesn’t feel justified.
Wrong Biryani Order I ordered a Chicken 65 Boneless Biryani but was initially served one with bones. Although they eventually corrected the mistake, my enthusiasm for the meal had already faded.
Overall, my visit fell well below expectations. When dining out, people want to enjoy good food and spend quality time with family, but my experience at One Stop India left me disappointed. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written for a Dallas restaurant, and I cannot recommend this...
