Trip 2, the food is good and not available elsewhere. Service was great this time. Had a similar order. Oddly, and with great surprise, my meal had also grown. So either I got a hook up, or I got even more beat up than expected last time. Alligator bites serving was at least twice as many. I ordered my mac and cheese with a side of crawfish to mix in. Forgot to mention cajun and unbreaded crawfish. Still delicious. I had a stuff baked potato. This was huge, and while a little dry, it was still good after a couple of butter packets. A far better experience this time. The waitress was super attentive, and the other staff were also attentive. My first experience told me never to return. But the gator made me do it. I'm glad I did. I will be back yet again when I come through. I surely hope my gator bites can double in size again. 😆

Found this place while looking for alligator. The menu is fantastic and has a ton of great options, from seafood to burger to bbq. The house sauce is spectacular. A little on the runny side, but delicious. Everything we had was good except for the service. I wanted to defend the horrible service on coming in late Monday night. But there is never an excuse for bad service. I spent $100 for 2 people to eat, and had you even tried in the slightest, you would have gotten a fat tip instead of $15, which was still too much. Service gets a -1, food gets a 9, atmosphere gets a 9 minus staff. Scowling from the tweaker looking bar tender and again horrible service via my server tells me I don't want to come back. Regardless of how good it was. I'm super disappointed. I fell in love with the menu. I had hoped to try it all. Mystery customers are everywhere. As a previous server, your actions alone should have gotten you no tip. The kitchen staff should have gotten a fat tip. The food was great. Not that you would know. You didn't bring it. You didn't even check on us until you brought the bill. I wish I could remember your name to give credit where credit is due. Last table of the night on Monday the 6th should help.

Huge menu to choose from but the food was just ok, nothing spectacular. I was part of a party of 4. Three of us ordered drinks. The drinks took 10 minutes to arrive and the frozen margarita tasted nothing like a margarita and was made with vodka…so the wrong drink entirely. We couldn’t find a waitress to flag down to inquire about it. About 1/6 of the drink was consumed before waitress #1 came back. We informed them of them that it was the wrong drink, they apologized and took it back to the bar and the “replacement” drink arrived to the table by waitress #2 after we were finished with the meal. All the ice in the frozen drink was melted and it was the exact same amount in the glass as when it left the table. It was the same drink…they just tried to doctor it up with adding a splash of tequila and more flavor syrup…still not a margarita. Waitress #1 asked if it was better this time and when we said no, she said it’s because they had to change their recipe because their “original one was too spicy” and when we said the drink was not remade, waitress #1 became very snippy and rude and said it was a new one because she watched it be made. But then why did waitress #2 bring it to the table and why was all the ice melted?? The waitress was very rude.

Our food came out in waves in two groups, about 5 minutes apart and when it did, all the sides were missing and we had to flag down a waitress to bring them out. We weren’t the only ones with issues- during our dining experience, 3 other parties had problems with either the wrong food being served, food not being brought out at all, or rude waitresses. THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT TO THE KEG ABOUT A YEAR AGO (read all the way through...my second visit is below) Waited 25 minutes which isn't very long considering how many people were outside waiting. However, my friend went in to do a status check and they were thankful we came in because they forgot about us (even though we had a buzzer) and was about to give the table to someone else. Our server was wonderfully sweet. I ordered the angel hair pasta with shrimp. I was very bummed because the noodles tasted like it was sitting in water for a very long time. Like old ramen noodles. I was sad because I love angel hair! My daughter's BBQ sandwich had no BBQ sauce on it but it was a great amount of meat which was plus. All in all, the experience from our server was nice, the food was meh. I really wanted to like this place, but maybe I'll give it another shot. I may have caught the cooks on a bad day or ordered the wrong thing.

REVIEW REVISITED-SECOND VISIT: I was, again with a group of friends and even though I was dissapointed with my last experience, I'm always up for another shot in case I was caught in a crazy day the first time, and boy was I happy I did! Our server was so very nice and joked around with my husband who can be "that guy" but to his defense he is pretty funny. We had a group of 12 and our server was great! I was worried on what to order but I ordered the pork belly tacos and HOLY AMAZING TACO! It was fantastic! I'm so glad we gave this place another try! I was right, I caught the cooks on a bad day the first time, and ordered the wrong thing. This time I hit the bullseye! ...
