Me my friend Brady have been here 4 times always had a good time never any issues. Tonight was different I was instantly greeted by a bar tender Chris who I had never seen. Friendly until he heard my voice say good how are you man? Then his whole demeanor changed. The guy studied my ID like it was a bible. Then I order a press and a vodka soda. He gives me attitude, I even tip the guy. So I was there from 10pm-11:40PM during that time I had 1 additional round and asked for a shot a half hour later. He cuts me off telling a friend I have to wait to have anything to drink.( at this point Iām sober) During my time in the bar he went in the parking lot two maybe three times⦠with a flashlight⦠checking cars or something ⦠A group of regulars Cory and Diane we were having a good time with offers to buy us a shot Chris didnāt wanna do it but did and was in a hurry to close early. When I asked if I could get a another pressā¦after saying āwell Iām sober nowā He said just for that comment Iām not giving you anything. I said oh I guess you guys donāt want my money⦠Then I went into the bathroom and I come out and he said I feel like you were drinking before you got here which when I said well that was not the case I was sober and I said well I feel like you didnāt like me from the second I got here you had something against me With your attitude⦠He said if youāre going to be that sensitive, maybe you need to find a new bar ⦠I said no problem happy to do that ā¦I then made the comment I think itās not about being sensitive. I donāt think you like gay people which really does seem to be the case because he treated everybody else differently than he treated meā¦but was real quick to cut me off and now 86 me when I was pretty much sober and the fact that Iām even writing this saying everything that went on, proves the fact⦠no worries never had one problem with anyone in there or the other bar tender but okā¦plenty of places to take my money⦠hate gays it doesnāt look good on businessā¦(Chris) because why else would you treat me like this??? I was sober when I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came here for my step dads birthday on a Saturday night. We got there just shy of 9 p.m. I went out to my car with my friend to change my clothes and as we exited the guy up front said "Have a good night!" My friend responded "We're coming back!" He said nothing. We came back maybe 2 minutes later and that same guy said "No one can re enter after 8 p.m.". What???? We had beers sitting on the table that we hadn't even touched. We asked why and he told us it was because we were a "liability". Mind you, we were stone cold sober and both of us under 25 years old and less than 150 pounds. A liability to who??? My step dad pleaded for him to let us in and he kept telling him the same thing; "No re entry after 8 p.m.". There were no signs stating this, he never told us as we exited... Total B.S. We were paying customers, legal to drink and we would've ended up with sizable bar tabs. They lost paying customers over a stupid made-up rule that I've never heard of at any other bar. Also, when my husband went to get our untouched beers refunded, the bartender gave him a ton of attitude and THREW the money from our untouched beers at him. So unnecessary. Do not go to this bar unless you enjoy hostility...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is what I've come to think of an authentic Irish / English Pub. Regulars frequent the location, and it has a game room, as well as a inside, outside eating area. Behind the bar area, a more "dining" area can be found. Great "Pub" food can be found, but The Leprechaun Inn boasts an excellent menu. Specialty burgers and top notch appetizers are available. I hate to mention this, as it's my favorite, and would hate to have the competition, but, Friday's offer a special addition to the menu. It's either spaghetti, or my fav, Fish & Chips. Haven't tried the pasta, but the fish is excellent. Two, or four pieces of large, lightly deep fried white fish and a good portion of "chips" (larger cut french fires, liken of steak fries), seasoned. Never had an authentic Irish / English "Fish & Chips", but this is what I have seen and heard them to be. I've been back many times, usually...
