I went into Kaysville store April 27th to trade-in 4 phones and setup new account for four family members. Conner Vigil took over the work after a few minutes because Clayton E. had to leave. Conner was fantastic to work with explained things well and new what he was doing!!!!! We received our bill and it showed that we had about $300 in account credit that I was told would come within two billing cycles from Verizon. Everything was great. Two business cycles passed and $229 of bill credit has not shown up. I called Verizon (not the store) and they said I had no credit do to me. Verizon said the Cellular Sales store reported that my credits were used in store. Well not true I didn’t spend $900 in store for my trades. Verizon said they couldn’t help me I had to go back to the store. Went into the store to show my bill and the credit it showed that I had not received. The 2 employees behind the counter looked at me like deer in headlights. No other customers were in the store. They didn’t have the slightest idea of how to look up anything to help me and argued with me about the credit even though I had their bill which showed the credit. I showed them how to look up my account and that the credit wasn’t there. I asked if we could get Verizon on the phone to discuss the issue. They didn’t help me at all. I asked them if there was someone else we could call. They gave me a phone number to Jeff Wilson a manager. I called the number and the first thing he says to me is HOW DID YOU GET THIS NUMBER! I said from an employee in the Kaysville store. He was not happy. I told him about my problem and he said they would need to audit my account. That was two days ago. I have now text and called multiple times without any response from Jeff Wilson! I am very disappointed in the ability of the employees and manager to help customers when there are problems. Just FYI this is not a Verizon store it is Cellular Sales and you pay extra fees to them when you go there. This would be ok if they had good customer service after a sale.
An update to my post - Jeff has now (3 days later)sent me a text to let me know that now the General Manager was working on the problem. I thought great this is someone who can make a decision. I called the General Manager and he told me the credit department was still reviewing my bills and there was nothing he could do! WOW!! It has been 5 days now. I asked him when I could expect a response he said within 5 days! It took me 10 minutes to recreate the problem in an excel spreadsheet but it takes 10 days for the credit department to figure it out. I discontinued 2 of my lines that I haven't used in years! They assured me online tell my bill would be $70 a month! Now I've been charged over $200 since I discontinued the two that I didn't use!

If I could give zero stars I would. We walked into the Kaysville location a little more than a week ago. We were met by their employee named Sean. We sat with Sean talking about bringing my family over to Verizon. We were ready to do the switch that day but Sean wanted us to only work with him exclusively. He said he would be on vacation for a week but we could stay in touch via his cell. We thought we could throw him a bone and agreed. He said he would meet us in a week and take care of everything. Long story short, even with texts during that week, he failed to even check his stock for the phones we discussed. We showed up and he didn't have the stock, would only call stores he was affiliated with. I ended up spending the hour on the phone calling other locations to eventually find one 30 minutes away with the phones we wanted. Sean then bad mouthed the location and tried to convince us they wouldn't help us. We ended up so upset that we drove up there to get taken care of. At that location we found out Sean wasn't even honest about what we would have to pay going out the door. All he and this location seems to care about is their commissions. They don't care about helping you. Sean also told us if we went to another location, that his location could not help us in the future. Read moreI ordered a new phone to replace my current and well used phone. I was promptly greeted when I walked through the front door. They found my new phone and started the Activation process. I was assigned One if their customer service folks (Lindsey Miles). . We went to activate the new phone we encountered an issue that they (and the the company level support) have never encountered. Lindsey handled the situation in a very professional manner, Lindsey made sure I knew exactly where we were in the entire process. She answered all my questions as we went through getting my new phone activated. After Verizon tech came back with two options, Lindsey immediately suggested that they request a new phone so that we alleviate any further issues. When we were done my old phone appeared to be working properly. Unfortunately I failed to verify before I departed the store and after Lindsey asked me, if my cellular option was working, I assumed yes without checking (My fault for not checking). When I departed the store I realized that my cellular was not working. I contacted her using my wife’s phone. and she was right on it. Lindsey has it fixed within minutes.
