First time to eat here today visiting family. I will say it was a tad disappointing.. checked in at 12 (we knew there would be a little wait) Coming from someone who works in the industry. First impressions left a bad taste in my mouth the older hostess apparently did not like her job and I sure hope she wasn’t the owner. Because her resting face was on a whole other level. Don’t think she cracked a smile or spoke to us in a friendly tone the entire time. The younger hostess was the same way. Definitely in the wrong business.. we wait 30 minutes and the young hostess goes and puts menus on a 4 top. After another 30 minutes she then seats us at that same very empty table. Waitress comes over and we are ready to order food and drinks as we’ve been waiting some time.. 20 minutes later we get our drinks.. 20 minutes more we get rolls AFTER having to ask. Meanwhile every table around us that got there AFTER us were already getting their food. Nearly an hour later our food comes out. So it took 1 hour and 40 minutes to eat. Meanwhile all these other tables are flipping.. here we still sat. Which leaves me to believe the waitress forgot to enter our check.. the ONLY thing we never waited for was the check. Will not return.. I understand if you were short staffed but this wasn’t a surprise day. It comes around every year. So maybe next year add a few more employees to be able to handle the crowd you get. Food was eh! Definitely not worth the 2 and 1/2 hours at all.. competition is going to come in and run yalls doors closed if you don’t fix...
Read morewe went based on the reviews left here, hoping to have a decent steak. I absolutely would NOT recommend any steak. I had the Hawaiian sirloin, claimed to be marinated in teriyaki, pineapple, ginger and loaded with flavor. the steak was beyond bland. I dont know that it even had salt. I mean ZERO flavor, and I'm not generally a picky person. the only "Hawaiian" flavor was a slice of pineapple they threw on top. my husband got a "Texas ribeye", $6 more than mine but basically the same size. it also was extremely bland and tough. I can say the steaks were cooked correctly, both med well and the server was great. i blame the managers/owners. who ever is in charge of ordering steaks and following recipes. the only other issue was my house salad. it was full of the white chunks of core from the head of lettuce. a few pieces of green but they were turning brown and just yucky. Not sure if that is up to the cook or the server. Or if they're made to use this part of the lettuce. I understand how a restaurant works. how steaks are supposed to taste and the texture of meat. these were definitely a miss, especially for the price. Read moreWe went for my son's 17th birthday, there was just 8 people in our party. My son, my brother, and I ordered steaks. My son order his medium well, my brother ordered his seared, and I ordered mine well done. An hour later our table get our food and not only was our steaks wrong. Both my son and mine were rare. And my brothers was literally raw, as they looked to have just tapped it on the grill and pulled it off. They were all cold. We sent them back, and again they all came back the same. My son ate his anyway as he was afraid to send it back (worried about what would be done to it if it was sent back again) I told them not to bring mine back as I no longer wanted it. My Brother decided to take his home to cook it. There was no management to report it to. And the waitress was sweet about it all, and even said the cooks didn't care, and would throw a fit about it. As we were leaving we could hear the cook complaining about it. And saying steaks aren't supposed to be cooked any more than that.....
