Cruz Tacos — Restaurant in Murrieta

Wow! Terrible terrible customer service. The two little girls at the front with an awful attitude is the reason we will NEVER give our money to this business ever again. I called at 7:15 to confirm what time they closed. The girl who answered said they close at 8 (it is Saturday 10/29) I asked what time they stopped taking orders. She said 7:30 for over the phone orders and 7:50 for walk ins. I said oh okay we are in menifee about 17 mins away, we will leave right now!she responded ya you will make it here on time no worries. My husband and I jumped in the car and drove all the way there. We walk in at 7:45. The restaurant smelled of sewage btw. Yuck! There were three different parties inside with full plates. And a family eating the food they just got outside. As we walked up to the cashier behind the plexi glass she goes I’m sorry we are closed, we stop taking orders at 7:50 We said it’s 7:46 and showed her the time on my phone and we called 20 ish mins ago and you said we had til 7:50 to order!!! She runs around the back to ask the guy with the shaggy hair if it’s okay to take our order. He says no. Then the other rude little girl cleaning out the hot sauces behind us yelled we are not serving you! we are closed! I turned around and said we just called and one of you girls told us we have until 7:50 to order. she said no you didn’t we are closed now ( she couldn’t even look me in the eye when she spoke in the rudest voice) My husband and I looked at each other and walked out knowing this ghetto business isn’t worth our time and money. So far everything I've tried here has been delicious. Starting with rolled tacos to carne asada burrito, I'm Hispanic and love to cook so its really hard to find an authentic place that actually makes you feel like your in your own home. I searched for good menudo near and far in the Temecula/ Murrieta area some were ok just ok. But trust me when I say this menudo is awesome just like homemade😍. I've gone back twice in 1 month that's how good it is, full of flavor ( once you season it to your liking, it needs a bit of salt but that's always a good thing ) its made with only the best meats honeycomb, not the cheap one. Fatty broth (where the flavor is) and served boiling hot. Don't get me started on their salsas having my own business before and being known for my salsa's. Cruz' salsa's are the BOMB! spicy and full of flavor like the kind your momma or grandma makes. I prefer the red but the green ones are good to.

Just stop by and give them a chance the food is delicious quality beef in their burritos and quality service throughout. The owners are super nice and love what they do maybe that's why the food is so amazing they put love into their food and that is the key to good...

We needed to feed 70 people lunch today for a business conference that we were sponsoring. Due to technical reasons we were very late on finding someone to cater this lunch for us. In fact we called Cruz Tacos on Monday for a lunch of 70 people that we needed on Wednesday. They came through for us in, incredibly short notice!! That alone is worth 5 stars to me. But to top it off the food was absolutely amazing!!! I mean ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! People kept telling us, this was the best lunch they have had in a long time. These are realtors who have a catered lunch every Wednesday and they kept saying how great it was and that it was the best they have had in a long time. Cruz Tacos made us look awesome!! And they did it on such short notice too!! We told all those hungry realtors to visit and I will tell anyone reading this review, Cruz Tacos is absolutely amazing.
